Annie Herman

Annie is a licensed social worker with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of specialty include but are not limited to anxiety, mood-disorders, trauma, and ADHD. Annie completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. While there, she specialized in working with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings. Annie feels strongly about utilizing a holistic approach, particularly when working with children and families, to involve the whole system in a person's life. She utilizes a client-centered framework, focusing on a client's strengths and blending different therapeutic techniques. The human experience involved suffering and negative emotions for everyone. Annie feels strongly about helping people integrate those emotions and experiences into their lives in a healthy way by learning new coping strategies and developing a new perspective on life's struggles.
