we call many times but not answer seen last week?

This doctor did a painful procedure on me knowing that the sedation had not worked. He even acknowledged to me later that he knew I was not sedated. Also, you will spend up to two hours for an office visit.

I had an endoscopy (scope pushed down my esophagus & into my stomach with punch biopsies) done in which Anoop Shah did not sedate me!! He saw I was panicked and in pain but continued anyway! He later told me in his office "yes, I saw in your eyes that you were terrified"! And yet he went ahead to cut biopsies and roto-rooted my throat & stomach knowing full well I was wide awake and whatever sedation given did not work. Additionally, his office overbooks appointments and you will be there at least a full hour past your appointment time just to get into a room where there will be another 30 minute wait. This doctor is greedy and has no compassion. Please avoid at all costs!!!

I would not trust him to do anything to me. Has been reported 7 times over the past year for fraud and malpractice

This office does not check with you insurance to make sure you have coverage of if you're in their network. Your visit could coast you a lot of money and any procedures could be not covered.

Dr. Shah is very unprofessional and he encourage his staff to schedule people even when he know that their insurance won't cover the procedure. I only went to Dr. Shah because his office staff assured me he accepted my primary and secondary insurance. They even took copies of both insurance cards knowing that they didn't accept both insurances. Then on the day of the procedure he showed up five hours late and was joking around with staff while I was still waiting for him. I could hear the nurses begging him to start the procedure and telling him I had been there since 7:30am, it is now 12:30pm. Horrible doctor.

DR Shah is AWESOME ! Very friendly and helpful. Worth the wait to see him . LOVELY staff as well.

Really Great Doctor, Cares about is patients and expresses his knowledge in his field very well. And after treatment checks up on you to see how everything went and is always open for more information if needed

Misdiagnosed my daughter based on assumptions and lack of review of her medical history.

Look elsewhere if considering this doctor. I have never had a doctor yawn when entering the operating room ** without even an acknowledgment of my presence or a good morning, hello mr XXX, how are you today? Besides, the OR had crumpled up paper trash on the floor! What does that tell you about the cleanliness of this doctor and facility, St Marys Medical Center of Long Beach???
