Dr. Ansel Paul Mello, MD

Had a lump and he did nothing for six months. Thought I was to young to have cancer. Luckily I survived. Funny he changed his name from Paul to Ansel!?

I have been a patient of Mello for about Eight years now and my main complaint is the long wait times. There is a long wait to be seen. but he does spend time with his patients. I have not yet has a rushed visit with him, and he has spent as much time as needed with me. Guess that could exsplain the long wait times. He was the one who finally diagnosed me with MS and moved very quickly to get it treated and has been very good at making sure I am doing well. One other negative is he is not a Doctor that is happy to whip out a pescription pad for every little thing, especially antibiotics. He will only give antibiotics if he feels you really need them. He seems to really care about his patients and will even ask about your family and how everything is going. He reminds me of how doctors used to be in the past, kind of an old school doctor. So if your looking for someone to just write presriptions for you go elsewhere, but if you want a doctor who cares about you go with Mello.

Dr Mello is the best doctor ever! You may wait for awhile in the waiting room, but he is very thorough and gives you lots of time during you appointment. I highly recommend him.
