Dr. Anthony Byron Agrios, MD

Dr. Agrios was my ob. He did not catch in utero my daughter had a diaphragmatic hernia and a massive hole in her heart. Because of that her oxygen was low for the first few years of her life. I now know these are common things competent drs look for.

Absolutely terrible, fired me from his practice for advocating for myself by simply asking questions as to why I was being given a certain test early on in my pregnancy. Reprehensible! Would not listen to my concerns. Would not trust or recommend his medical skills.

I don't understand where these negative reviews are coming from. Dr. Agrios not only delivered my daughter 17 years ago but he also delivered my niece in 2000 and most recently my second child this year. He is very professional and caring and truly seems to love his chosen profession. Not only is he a wonderful doctor, but his entire staff is amazing. I can't possibly sing the praises for this Physician and his staff enough

Dr. Agrios is a careless somewhat unprofessional doctor. When he comes in he's in the room with you for literally six minutes. Doesn't give you the opportunity to ask questions if you are concerned about something. He always seems to be in a rush and makes you feel like he doesn't have time to see you. Its almost like this is only a "Job" for him not a profession or something that he is passionate about. If you are overweight he constantly speaks on it. I understand that as a physician his concern is most likely the health and well-being of the patients that come through the office especially while being pregnant but to constantly make a person feel like they are a germ or disease because they are not a size 2 is rediculous. He makes you feel uncomfortable and if you had little or no self esteem about yourself you most definitely wont have any once he leaves the room. The office staff has no remorse for complaints (Diane) she takes complaints and turn it around and reflect it on… herself I guess to make you feel a little bit better if she agrees That's she has the same issues which is no help at all. The receptionist thinks she is a financial counselor, she asks you about your personal financial business right in front of whoever is in the waiting area no form of patient confidentiality is practiced in that office. She will put you on the spot and ask for money (All of it) up front and ask you if you don't have it how or when will you start paying and expects and answer regardless of who's standing behind you listening. She takes the money situation real personal as of your paying her directly. She talks to you as if you lack knowledge of insurance and your insurance status. She actually is the one who knows NOTHING about insurance. She needs to play her role of receptionist and that only! They tell you one thing at the closing of your appointment and what to expect on the next visit and when you come back your adding something totally different. The midwives are never on site always out of the office which in result they throw you to another available physician without warning. However the nurses are fairly nice they greet you with a smile know their jobs. They should actually be the ones checking in. But as for Agrios and his rude front office staff they get an overall rating out of 1-10 a whopping "2". I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

I was refered to Dr Agrios for fertility problems and I have been a patient now for 2 months! He is a wonderful person and doctor! I had an exploratory surgery (it was my choice I've been waiting for answers for 6 years !!) Not only did he squeeze me in before my insurance deductions rolled over to make sure I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket for the surgery ... After the surgery was over he gave my husband his cell phone number in case we had any questions and even though it was Christmas day Dr Agrios called me back and spoke with me about a few concerns I was having!! If you have ever had to talk to an after hours physician you know how truly amazing it was to be able to voice my concerns to my doctor and be told whether it truly was an emergency or if I could wait until Monday morning!! Absolutely wonderful Doctor!!!

Really nice guy. Appears very confident and is reassuring. Overall, very good experience each time I have to visit.

Issues with this office include:1) Horrible staff (especially Diane) in returning/handling calls. Had issues in having nurse return calls, this may be due to Diane not relaying the message, not sure. Majority of time you will need to leave voicemail which can only be left in Diane's vm box.2) Any issue you call in to Diane she reacts as if she herself is experiencing it herself (i.e. if pregnant or any female issue, she begins to speak with a very anxious tone in her voice, and can't get her words out, as if in a panic as to what to do)..very strange. She sure is not suitable for this type of office, unable to remain calm and professional.3) Expect full payment up front and if a procedure is cancelled, lenghty period in receiving credit4) Do not return emergency phone calls after hours. The nurse the following day apologized and said she thought she had returned the call, advised she had me confused with another patient. This is after 3 calls to her that night. Unacceptable… practice!5) Dr Agrios reflects a "no care" attitude, this is a physician that seems to not want to go the extra mile for his patients. This I later learned also similar experiences from others that have gone to him, not just in my own experience. 5) if pregnant, appt check-in's are inconsistent (i.e. one nurse may check blood pressure, another time a differnt nurse request urine sample, the next time not, and another visit advised they really should request it each time. They simply don't seem like they work as a team, in uniform or have their act together.I am so grateful (God Bless) that I switched physicians, as I know today my future situation would of turned out entirely different.

I made an appointment verified the procedure that I needed to have "3 times" just to make sure they knew what I needed and was call by the office the day before to tell me that the person they scheduled me with did not even do that procedure. I get to the office wait an hour before even brough to the back then found out that I did not even have an appointment with the doctor they told me I would have. Then the doctor gets called out for 30 minutes, while meanwhile we wait and the most unfriendly nurse comes in and tells me that they will need to reschedule because "I" was going to put them 2 hours behind (if I waited that long and I had an appointment then I deserve to be there just as much as the people behind me). I was so frustrated I went to leave and I ran into Dr Agrios himself, I told hime I thought I had an appointment with you and his reply to me was "I don't have the time" and walked right away. The procedure was finaly done which took a total of 10 minutes. My appointment… wa sat 1:00 and I left around 4:00. Plus what they charge up front for one thing and bill you later for a larger amount. The lady at the checkout was just as rude as the rest of the staff (even more so) and I would NEVER reccomend this Doctor to ANYONE!!!The same day my sister had the same surgery done and Diane in the front office charged her one thing (which was paid in full), my sisters was in the lobby waiting for me when Diane comes out and tells her that she charged her worong and she would need to pay more. My sister told her that she can't do that after she had already paid and Diane said "well do you want me to loose my job"? This sent her a bill for $517.00 in the mail. Really? What kind of business is this?

Professional, Thorough, Took the time to answer all of my questions and I never felt I was being rushed out of the office. The staff is also amazing and personable. Overall, AWESOME! I'd recommend to any and everyone.

Dr. Agrios delivered both my son's, He is wonderful.
