Dr. Anthony Edward Atwell, MD

Dr Attwell's name is mud in our house. Based on one interview he ignored all the indicators that joint custody was contraindicated in our situation because of domestic abuse. We spent years dealing with a bizarre and intrusive custody situation. When I describe it to friends or to professional counselors they are appalled.

He's exceptionally great, as a psychiatrist and as a human being.

Dr. Atwell helped our teenage daughter in so many ways and we are so grateful. He is very honest and clear in his evaluations. I would recommend to anyone seeking mental health treatment for their kids, especially after a divorce.

This guy suffers from a severe case of short man's complex. His patients are paying dearly for all the times he was beat up as a kid. Has the personality of a weasel and should consider retirement sooner rather than later. Leave your wallet in the car as he will take all that he can from you.

There are far better options than Dr. Atwell. He is corrupt and will milk you for far more money than is necessary. I agree with other reviewer that said he was arrogant and self centered. Find someone else.
