Dr. Capito, a dual-certified hand surgeon and plastic/reconstructive surgeon, earned his medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in integrated plastic surgery at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity at Curtis National Hand Center. He joined Carilion Clinic in 2015, specializing in hand surgery at the Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences and elective cosmetic procedures at Carilion Clinic Cosmetic Center. Very dissatisfied with my surgery I now unable to do a lot of things with both hands ,can’t open anything anymore with hands because they hurt and can’t even tear open a bag of chips unless i use scissors..After 3 surgery one in one hand and two in the other my life has changed forever.At first I thought it was just a healing process now I’m still worse than I was before having the surgery .I can’t even see this doctor to even try to get him to fix or try to fix the situation because he left Columbia.The office he was in none of the doctors want to go behind him because they said he has messed me up permanently.

I had surgery by Dr.Anthony Capito,this surgery has changed my life forever .At first I thought ok wait it out ,give it time .But here I am now can’t open a thing with neither of my hands,the pain is so bad in one that I cry and scream because it hurts so bad.I loved fishing now I barely go because I have so much pain in both hands.I had three sugeries one hand had 2 but both hands can’t do the things I use to because of surgery went wrong..I now am at at loss for words cause I trusted this doctor now my life has changed forever
