Dr. Anthony Carlino, MD

It took me 4 phone calls to Dr. Carlino's office to get them to renew my prescription for Metformin. They fought me every inch of the way. This medication renewal was refused by a Dr. Mathews in this office. I had to call 4 times to get them to finally ok a renewal. I asked the office to have Dr. Mathews call me. He never returned my call. Finally I see that the office has ok'd a renewal of my Rx. This doctor's office has some major communications problems. I intend to let them know how unhappy I am with their service. I may have to find another doctor.

Waited weeks for a follow-up appointment. Then waited over an hour in the office and had to leave to return to work. No notice that they were running behind and no apology. What a disgrace.

Always available 24/7/365!

Except for several cancellations and rescheduled appoints, plus a delay in follow up with me after the fact, the overall experience was moderately good. If 5 stars were provided, I would have ranked the Internal Medicine group only a 3 out of 5 versus a 3 out of 4.

although student doctors are very nice, don't go unless you have nothing else to do with your days....wait times are totally unacceptable. My first visit was my last. My appt. was for 10:30am, did not get out of there until 1:00pm- and this was just for a routine first visit. Total time spent with students and dr-maximum 25 minutes-the rest was waiting. Not a relationship I wish to continue.
