Dr Carrato is a man of few words. He explains nothing and barely answers questions. He gave really inaccurate information regarding healing process and at every follow up appointment he changed his tune. I felt left hanging on my own not sure of what to do for follow up care. I have no confidence or trust and would NEVER use him again.

I was scared to death to have a major operation for diverticulitis. He thoroughly explained the procedure, did it laparoscopic--through very small incisions--as he explained. Office staff was fantastic--prompt with scheduling and arranging all my preoperative test. Made my surgery a breeze!

Office has limited seating, have to stand and wait sometimes over an hour. Many patients leave. Was seen by Doctor only once of 3 visits. Was seen by his assistant who misdiagnosed my condition initially and was corrected by Doctor but nonetheless never saw Doctor after that only assistant. No confidence in this way of practicing medicine.

They overbook. Not enough parking or seating in waiting room. Not always seen by Doctor--sometimes his assistant. After repeated CT scans, no definate diagnosis until you are opened in surgery. Can't tell you if it will done through laparoscopy or incisional until attempted with laparoscopy first. Give future appointment when you tell them you don't want it, then charge $25 for no show.
