GREAT DOCTOR VERY PERSONABLE VERY COMFORTING

great doctor listened to patient needs adressed accordingly not a stuffed shirt as many DR'S ARE AND AS IWAS TREATED YESTERDAY BY ANOTHER DOCTOR IN HIS OFFICE HE NEW MORE ABOUT WHAT I NEEDED THAN A DR WHO I HAD SEEN FOR 2 YEARS WICH WAS I NEEDED TO SEE 5 SPECIALIST TO FIX PROBLEM THAT DONT EXIST

Dr. Caton has impressed me by being an interested listener, and an efficient, effective practitioner. His exams are thorough, his explanations easily understood, and I appreciate his promptness in reviewing and reporting lab results.Access to his office practice is not difficult, appointment times are available for routine care within a reasonable time frame (I don't know about urgent care).My only issue thus far has been the lack of warmth and friendliness of the reception staff. It appears that they are overwhelmed by the multiple duties they are responsible for, and patient calls and visits are treated as interruptins in their hectic day. Collecting payments for medical services must be difficult because the office policy is sternly worded. It is off-putting. If I hadn't been referred here by a trusted source I would have sought care elsewhere after my first visit to the office to schedule a routine appt.

To start with Dr.Caton Anthony's practice is in a location that has no visible signs on the outside. The reminder I got gave me an appointment time that was 15 minutes ahead of what they had booked. But I assumed that they had scheduled it as per their phone reminder. But when we got lost trying to reach their indiscreet practice and called them for instructions - the lady on the phone says that we are late and insists that irrespective of what time the reminders give you - you should just follow the time they book you on. We had planned to reach ahead of time but were lost because we couldn't locate their office.We had taken a day off and asked the lady on the phone if the Doctor could see us a little later - we were ready to wait even for a couple of hours. We wanted to see the Doctor the same day because you can't take days off every time. She said that the Dr.Caton Anthony is already seeing another patient and busy after that and he can't see us later in the day. Does this mean… they just give 15 minutes to each patient - even the new patients!!!So if you are lost (which you will be if you are going there for the first time) and are late by 10 -15 minutes they do not want to see you. They just cancel your appointments. Their attitude is unapologetic and they conveniently shrug off the fact that their reminder system is incorrect. This is the most atrocious behavior metted out to new patients. Going by this experience I will never go back to this pratice and will not recommend it to anyone else.
