Dr. Cohen is a good doctor after every test I took he called me back with a explanation of the test results.

Anthony cohen neurologist in new Hyde park needs to retire. I visited him and he tells me there is nothing he could do for me, I asked him well what about an mri? He says that’s not going to help you. I say well I want to know what’s wrong, I go to another neurologist and the other neurologist ordered the mri, turns out I have a serious condition and I’m taking meds for, I left his office very disappointed. Based on my observation of him and interaction with him he definitely needs to retire and enjoy his old age. Some doctors want to continue practicing forever, but at what cost? The cost of the patient’s not getting a diagnosis or help

I was looking forward to visiting Dr. Cohen, however, I experienced TERRIBLE costumer service from his workers, one worker who wouldn’t prove her name due to realization of her poor communication skills. Each had very unprofessional tones and would not allow me to ask questions without being interrupted. I highly would not recommend this office, the first thing you experience before attending a new doctor’s office is the workers and I had a very unpleasant turn off by not one, but two workers. When I mention I was going to leave a review she told me to go ahead, very unsatisfied.

Dr. Cohen does an extremely thorough examination. His diagnoses and his recommendations for treatment are correct.

Great doctor. Excellent bedside matter. He truly cares for his patients.

Was direct, honest and very knowledgeable about his field. Very kind bedside manner as well.

Dr Cohen didn't even examine me yet concluded I should/could return to work from my questionaire wherein I described a concussion injury, whiplash and constant migraine headaches. All of his testing consisted of squeezing his hands and a reflex test. He reiterated that I should go back to work in spite of my pain. Nasty man. Would he like his wife's medical ailments be poo pood by another doctor. There was no respect or professionalism. The only problem was that I have three herniated cervical disks, nerve impingement causing hand and finger numbness. My job is dangerous utilizing sharp instruments. No good.

Full battery of tests, friendly, easy going reassuring. Kind enough to call with results of brain mri and carotid doppler, the same days they were taken. Did not want me to wait a long weekend of worrying. CARING!
