Dr. Anthony Ross Desalvo, MD

Dr. Desalvo hands down is the best doctor I've had. Hes very caring and kind. Hes very soft spoken, willing to answer any questions, and he doesn't rush your appointment. I've been with him over 11 yrs now. Anytime Ive had a problem the staff wont make you wait until your next scheduled appointment. They will get you in that day or the next. I absolutely love, love,love his staff. They make me feel as if I'm just going to chill with the ladies and not at a actual doctor's appt. They laugh,smile,and conversate with you. My only downfall is that they cant be in the delivery room with Dr Desalvo when he delivers my last child. I'd recommend him to anyone. Just know him and his staff are a package deal, you cant have one without the other. You won't be disappointed!!!

I used to see Dr. desalvo, I saw him because he took my insurance Aetna. But I was never called with my tests results. I had to assume they were negative. I had abnormal paps and wasn't called after those. I made an appointment to have him look at my left side. It was causing me pain and I couldn't move. I went in and he did an ultrasound and kept poking the spot that was causing me pain. He saw I had tears in my eyes. Yet, he said it was nothing and sent me on my way. I had to see another doctor for a second opinion, and she found a cyst. That was pretty decent in size too. I decided to follow up with her afterwards. It's upsetting that he wanted to rush me through my appointment and not address my concerns. His staff was rude to me. Not very friendly. Kept rolling their eyes and getting snarky In that "oh so nice way". I decided they weren't the office for me.

I've been a patient for several years and it seems as though the wait time are increasing and his bedside manner is decreasing. I recently saw him to have my IUD removed and a new one inserted. I waited in the exam room for more than an hour. I was in so much pain during the procedure that I almost passed out after he was done. He simply mumbled "The second one hurts more than the first" as be watched me struggle to sit up and left the room. Luckily, the nurse could see I was in distress and stayed with me until I was able to collect myself. His lack of compassion and complete disregard are something that I can't look past. I'll be switching Doctor's.

I can't speak for other patients experience with Dr.Desalvo.Honestly I can't see how this Dr. won a reward for being compassionate. I went to see him because I read all the reviews and thought he would be nice.My experience was different .I'm a mother of 7 children and I'm married .I just had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago.I went to him to discuss if my obgyn did everything they could during my pregnancy.He didn't ask about my medical history giving this was my 5th miscarriage he kept talking about my age.Not asking if I had a blood disorder which I was diagnosed.I cried my whole visit with him this Dr. didn't have any sympathy .Basically he kept telling me my birth control options.And basically told me you have a family to take care of you need to get your tubes tied.To me he acted very smug and treated me as if I was a ghetto women.It doesn't matter if you have a large family that doesn't mean your ghetto.He made me feel as if I wasn't worthy of his time .There was no compassion from this… Dr. I continued to apologize for crying in front of him.Which I told him I was very depressed since the miscarriage.I will never go to this Dr. again

I love him. He's such a awesome doctor. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Desalvo takes the time to listen and answer all of your questions and concerns. I recently undergone surgery to have a total hysterectomy and removal of endometriosis via DaVinci method performed by Dr. Desalvo. I did not experience any problems afterward.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeSalvo's for many years. He and his amazing staff guided me thru the birth of my two children and thru some health issues I had been having. I was lethargic, run down, confused and plain exhausted. After trying some different meds, we decided the DaVinci hysterectomy would be the best for me. The procedure was simple and post op was easy. I stayed overnight in the hospital and went home in the morning. I had very little pain. I only used the pain meds for a day. I went back to work (desk work) in 3 days. I am grateful for Dr. DeSalvo and his amazing staff for taking care of me all of these years. They truly care about you and listen to you. I am so thankful to have my life back. I never realized how bad I felt until I didn't feel that way anymore. THANK YOU Dr. DeSalvo!

Having a bit of a health care background myself, I wanted to find a trustworthy, caring, and knowledgeable physician for the birth of our first child. A few of the nurses I work with referred me to Dr. Desalvo, and I'm so thankful they did. During your first pregnancy you always have questions and concerns and want to find a doctor that will make you feel comfortable. Dr Desalvo was that doctor for us. He always answered any questions we had. We never ever felt rushed no matter how busy he was, and he would always take the time to make us feel important. He is a very knowledgeable physician and you can tell he loves bringing little miracles into the world! Not to mention, his office staff is out of this world. They are all so friendly and personable! I too, like my coworkers, will now be referring anyone who wants a good obgyn to Dr. Desalvo!

Dr, Desalvo has been my OB/GYN physician for years. He is a kind and caring physician. He listens to the problems you tell him and then determines his plan of care. He always takes time to explain everything and makes sure I understand. I have never had a problem getting into his office when needed. I have had one surgical procedure by him with wonderful results. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great OB/GYN physician.

Dr. DeSalvo is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone looking for one. I have had nothing but great experiences with him. He is very professional, yet personable. I just recently had a DaVinci hysterectomy. The surgery and recovery were great and fast.
