Dr. Leone excels in communication, empathy, compassion. I am so very thankful for having the opportunity to be a patient of his. He had a way of taking the lack of communication from 4 other doctors and giving me a logical explanation as to why. I thank him so very much for his knowledge, compassion, and honesty. I walk today, who knows what would've happened had I not met him. btw, he said no to surgery and explained that unless i was unable to walk he would not risk performing a surgery with a chance of further nerve damage. Dr. Leone explains all aspects of surgery & answers all questions in detail leaving a person with confidence & understanding. I would recommend anyone with back problems to at least see him; he will tell you honestly weather he can help or stear a person in the right direction.

Yes I visited Dr Leone in 2013 when he performed a lamidectomy. Very successful

Dr. Leone is a very good Dr. He is conservative for a reason and that is to give his patients a chance to try other therapies before making a life changing descion like major back surgery.

I read the reviews on Vitals and several other sites. Dr. Leone has left the Brain and Spine Center and has joined Buffalo Orthopedic Group. I saw him 8 years ago when his office was on Harlem Road. I recently needed to see the doctor and his level of service and attention to detail remain intact. He still has a minimal wait in his office and takes time to talk to me. His staff is courteous and, while he preaches about the large volume of unneeded surgery in the Buffalo area, he does continue to treat conservatively and has not become "knife happy". I had 2 other doctors that wanted to cut and Dr. Leone has still kept me functioning at my job. For that I am grateful.

When I first became dr. Leones patient, I felt that he cared about me as a person. He told me that he looks at patients as mothers, daughters, fathers, etc, and now I feel as if his morals have changed. Ever since he moved to the brain and spine center, he has pushed me aside and gone back on his prior recommendations and promises to help me. I will probably be searching for another surgeon.
