Dr. Anthony Edward Loehr, MD

I had to have a lot of work done to my nose due to severe sinus issues and a deviated septum. Not only was Dr. Loehr very good in explaining everything, he and his medical assistant Alison, were absolutely fantastic. They both went above and beyond when my insurance denied some procedures, I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. I highly recommended Dr. Loehr to anyone that has any ear, nose and throat issues. Thank you Dr. Loehr...thank you !!

He dismissed my symptoms for months. Just wanted me to keep coming back for follow ups, but never did anything to help. Even dismissed my findings on a ct scan as swelling. Terrible bedside manner. Grumpy man.

I came in this morning to see Dr Loehr for an ear infection. The front desk staff, hearing lady that tested my hearing were all wonderful. However Dr Loehr spend most of my ear appt telling me I need to lose weight, that my bmi is too high, that I will get sleep apnea if I don't lose weight and that should motivate me to lose weight. First of all this appointment was about my EAR not about my weight, he has no idea why I am overweight and it is non of his business & out of his scope of practice.

After many ER visits over the last year to deal with recurrent ear infections and unbearable itching in ear canal, I made an appt with Dr. Loehr. At that appt, he became so focused with my desperate attempts to deal with this alternatively (medications from the ER had never really given me relief), that he didn't really listen or take me seriously. AT the end of the appt he briefly mentioned that he thought it MIGHT be a fungus and prescribed ascetic acid drops. I got and diligently used those drops but was so unhappy with the appt, and his dismissal and insulting manner toward me that I cancelled the follow up and made an appt with another ENT. Today, at that appt (new doc), I found out that what I REALLY have is eczema in the ear canal. For the last 3 wks I've been following Dr. Loehr's orders closely and putting ASCETIC ACID on eczema!!! No WONDER it burned so much!!! I'm now on my way to 'dealing with this" (no cure for eczema) but NO Thanks to Dr. Loehr!

He performed a tonsillectomy on me when no one else would consider touching a 35 year old. I had been beyond sick for 2 yrs and have barely had as much as a cold since the procedure. Would highly recommend Dr. Loehr

Dr. Loehr told me that the problem I was having was Tinnitis and that if it gets worse to follow up with him and he will schedule further testing. I explained to him that I am here because it has gotten worse over the past few months and that I have already seen my GP about it. He kept telling me that from what he can tell it is nothing to be concerned about however he also kept saying that most cases of Tinnitis are in patients whom are 30 years older. I kept asking questions about the Tinnitis because I wanted to know exactly what I was dealing with here and he basically seemed frustrated and kept telling me to follow up if it gets worse or to seek psychological advice. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone.

Had to wait to be seen by audiologist (10 minutes) Staff was very professional and interacted well with my 2 yr. old. The Dr. on the other hand had a very poor bedside manner. He said my child needed surgery to remove his adenoids and put tubes in. His diagnosis was a snap judgement and he said we could wait 2 months and then he would do surgery then because he will not change his diagnosis. He basically said I have 3 choices: 1) Have surgery 2) Schedule follow-up for 8 weeks to discuss surgery again, and 3)Find another ENT.Guess What I did. ~
