Dr. Michaels practices highly individualized patient centered psychiatry. Dr. Michaels emphasizes a helping, caring, and therapeutic relationship. Dr. Michaels offers complete psychiatric services of all major adult (18 and over) psychiatric disorders. I have seen him for anxiety and depression, NEVER left his office feeling as bad as when I came in. He guided me to a much better life I will be forever grateful

Was a patient of this doctor back around 1990 at Beaumont Hospital. He was terribly rude to my parents and not too kind to me. His attitude was that of a rich snob. I was in Beaumont recently and was so happy to hear that he had been dismissed from their staff. It's unfortunate to hear, though, that he still practices.

This is is the only doctor I've ever looked forward to seeing. He cuts through the crap and refuses to let you buy into your own excuses. It was a relief to finally learn how to be accountable to myself.

Gave me meds that didn't help at all! Spent 2 years with him! So mad!

This DR has lost all contact with reality.He kept me drugged and baffled for 6 years of my life. Hospital personnel Informed me "Dr Michaels is bad news, we see a lot of his patients who are over prescribed drugs and need detoxification, find another DR".This guy is screwed up and big time and will mis-diagnose you every time. If family or friends are seeing him,Please Intervene ASAP

Dr. Michaels is sensitive, caring and he spends a great deal of time getting to know his patients. He is a warm and friendly doctor, a real "thinking-outside-the-box" psychiatrist who also knows much about the physical maladies that could be affecting any respective patient.
