Dr. Michael Ira Casher, MD

Dr Casher's introject of a bad punitive caretaker is manifest with some clients that he feels he needs to teach a lesson regarding compliance to his wishes. He lacks the capacity for objectivity in these situations or professional concern. His wish to be a benevolent caregiver creating a benevolent place is an attempt to escape from that bad caretaker that overcomes him even today as he uses reliable theory to attempt to hide his underlying dysfunction. He should never have practiced medicine or mental health as he all too readily can be triggered to become a hostile actor toward his patients, though he knows how to conceal that from many that he works with. Some have seen it but failed to stand strong and report his actions.

Dr. Casher medicated me so much I couldn't talk and then he accused me of not being cooperative. He seemed undaunted by the fact that he was emotionally hurting me and refused to consider other opinions.

Saw Dr Casher after being admitted to the University of Michigan hospital. he was pleasant and made us feel very comfortable. Also worked with Dr Larosa, his resident psychiatrist who was wonderful. She made multiple follow-up visits and confirmed her diagnosis with Dr Casher who also made sure to check in on his rounds. I would highly recommend Dr Casher and his team at the University of Michigan hospital.
