Dr. Anthony Ngo, DO

Great people and Dr. Kno is very thorough as is l was looking for in a new Doctor.

The most despicable person I've ever encountered. His entire demeanor and patient interaction is shocking given the fact he's a medical professional/doctor.

After 8 months of visiting Dr. Ngo's office for my primary care, I finally met him. Every visit I have had either a Physician's Assistant or a doctor in training from a medical school. When I first went in for a visit, I was seen by a medical student. He seemed to know what he was doing. I was there to get clearance to go off a blood thinner so I could get a steroid injection for my sciatica. After the initial exam, the student went and had a discussion with Dr. Ngo. Then Dr. Ngo came in and didn't even get the details right from the very efficient med student. All the notes were in front of Dr. Ngo but he didn't even read them properly. The first question Dr. Ngo snapped at me was, "Who is your primary physician?" I snapped back, "you are." Looking a little surprised he then asked me, "What is the surgery you are having?' I answered, "it is not a surgery, it is an injection." I could go on about how this exam went downhill from here but it is enough to know that after 8… months of monthly visits, Dr. Ngo did not even know he was my primary. Also, his confusion over the difference between a surgery and an injection speaks for itself. I ended up walking out when he got even ruder with me. I fault Medicare and Medicaid for continuing to pay this guy without reviewing his performance. I understand the government wants to include minority doctors and so do I, but there has to be some minimum standard of performance that all doctors are held to. This is government waste at it's extreme.

The office is very unprofessional I have waiting for a referral for the last 3 weeks and no ans as of yet..

He’s a great caring doctor I’ve known. Keep me healthy for years now. I’m just happy!

I was assigned Dr Kno by my CarePlus Insurance when they dropped my existing primary care doctor from their group. I went to his office on three occasions for blood work, check ups and evaluation. I was never able to meet the Dr. Kno. I was always handled by the staff. I do not believe that Dr. Kno was at the office at the times I was there. It appeared his staff was running the office and seeing and treating all the patients. It appeared that the office was on auto pilot with no Dr. supervision. I will say his staff was very professional, experienced and courteous. After my tests and routine exam, I expected that Dr. Kno would personally meet with me to go over my medical conditions. I have since changed my insurance so I can be treated by my former primary care physician who always met with me during my visits.

I have been a Pt., of DR.NGO for almost 6 years. I see him most every time I am in the office. His staff is very friendly . I understand the way he explains thing. He and his staff are very professional. I feel very comfortable and relaxed when I have to go to his office,

Dr. Ngo is the most condescending person I have ever met. Quite simply he doesn’t care at all about his patients. He lied to me (yes I left and checked out what he said). He was incredibly rude and actually overall unkind! Don’t let the “compassionate” plaque on the wall fool you - compassion is an attribute severely lacked by Dr. Ngo. I would not recommend him to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and find another provider.

He has been my Primary care for many many years. He has this sense of humor and great personality when it come to taking care of his sick patients. I am in a good hand since I've been with Dr. Ngo. He did a great job at follow up with my health and labs and referrals. Thanks again Doc.

First visit and last visit!! Only one way...his way. Will not hear you or listen to his patient (me). We went back and forth for 15 to 20 minutes. As a patient for 5 years at MOFFITT CANCER CENTER ...Dr. Ngo would and will not put in referrals for my follow up appointments at MOFFITT CANCER CENTER. He said that he is my Doctor and I should listen to him and only go to the Doctors that he recommends. STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING...and they said this was not the first time he will give patients a hard time. With that I had no idea what my labs where! Called next day to staff for staff to fax me the results of my labs. After having CANCER...should I not have the right to see my specialis at Moffitt Cancer Center????? Dr. Ngo...this body belongs to me not you. I have rights that I feel you should respect. Shocked at your behavior!!
