We have been going to Dr Novena since the 70s; even when we moved out of town 17 yrs ago we still come back - great doctor!

Consummate Professional, who has continuously invested in his Practice and his Associates in training , communication, and motivation. He listens first for understanding. And, his knowledge base positions him to lay out actions steps to take for ongoing health. Great physician, and a great gentleman

This doc is the best. Only problem is that he is becoming TOO popular...everybody (including most of my extended family) is going to him and taking up all the appointment times! :) Seriously, this man knows his stuff. And he gives great patient care.

Dr. Novena is a thorough listener, has terrific technical and conceptual skills for practical use in his profession, maintains an efficient, effective, and caring team of associates, and puts the patient at the center of the equation. He is current on the literature, and holds a broad base of knowledge in regards to the world about -- gives him greater depth of understanding for his patients. You walk in with confidence, and walk out with even greater confidence as a result of his personal, professional, conceptual, and human skills. One of the best physicians I have had in my 62 years.

Office staff sucks. I called to set an appt and we discussed a few options. Apparentley we wrote down different dates. When the office staff called to say that I hadn't shown up, I explained that I didn't show the appt until a later date. They explained that there is typically a charge for no show appts, but that they would check to see if some consideration could be given due to the circumstances ... the error could have been on either of our parts, and they would call me back. I never recd a call back but rather a bill for the full charge. I followed up and was rudely told by the office staff that the error couldn't possibly have been theirs and that I owed the full amount. I had never missed an appt.; definately not good customer service! I've never been back.

Dr. Novena has been my doctor & the doctor of my entire family for 20+ years. He is thorough, competent, professional & compassionate. He is a terrific doctor & I trust him.
