Dr. Anthony James Oconnell, MD

Dr O'Connell is an excellant Dr. He never rushed me. He was always kind, and empathetic and explains everything very thoroughly. Dr. O'Connell removed endometriosis where a year prior the Dr had not found any endometriosis to remove and I have experienced a significant improvement in symptoms since the surgery. He is easy to access with any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connell for anyone who needs a urogyn.

This guy wasn't able to tell me what was wrong with me or how to treat me. He just kept asking me what other doctors said instead. When I asked his medical opinion he told me he doesn't know me and this is the first time he's met me. What? This isn't a first date. This is a doctor's appointment that requires medical intake, evaluation, and treatment. He told me nothing could be wrong with me based on my ultrasound (ha!) even though everyone with a basic understanding of my disease process knows surgery is the gold standard for diagnosis. He didn't bother to learn that I had multiple prior surgeries and had several diagnosed issues that continued to need treatment. Terrible doctor. He has no idea what he's doing. But if you want surgery he'll happily cut you open. Good luck with this guy.

It is often too difficult to find a doctor with both a listening, caring ear, and the know-how to go with it. In my opinion, Dr.O'Connell is just that. In a day and age where Drs are often inaccessible to their patients, he makes it a point to follow up and stay in communication with his patients. He is highly experienced, as well, as he is double-board certified and has treated thousands of patients in his career. I was in good hands.

He did so much more for me than he had to. He is, without a doubt, the kindest, most caring, and most compassionate doctor I have ever met. I could never thank him enough for trying so hard to help me with my endometriosis. Endometrial excision helped me so much. Dr. O'Connell gave me my life back and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

Dr. O'Connell is very caring and thorough. He takes his time with you and explains everything.

I saw Dr. O'Connell for second opinion. I was very nervous, but he calmed my concerns and explained my options very thoroughly, reviewed my records from my other doctor, examined me and did an ultrasound. Dr. O'Connell is one of the kindest, most down to earth doctors I've ever met and I'm glad I saw him.

Oh gosh where to begin. Many times a person's apt is not good, however, when I have this it is always a pleasure. Friendly staff, incredible nurses and very knowledgeable physician. Thanks to all of you for taking such good care of me. I feel very blessed to have A. J. O'Connell as my doctor.

Dr. O'Connell has been my OB for years. He has the greatest bedside manner and is very thorough. After being sick for two years and going to a gastro doctor, I finally scheduled my hysterectomy. Dr. O'Connell checked my bladder and rectum and found problems with both! He was able to fix them during my hysterectomy and I have felt amazing. He was honest with me about my issues and my expectations. He is by far one of the best doctors I have met.

Dr. O'Connell takes the time to make sure his patients are comfortable and understand exactly what needs to be done and how it will be done. Every doctor should try to be more like Dr. O'Connell!

Dr. O'Connell goes above and beyond his obligations for patient care. After learning that i had a genetic mutation that gives me a predisposition of getting ovarian cancer, he called me at 7:00 P.M. to get me in to see him. That shows EXTREME caring, to call a patient after hours, on his own accord. I love Dr. O'Connell, and i will be his patient until he retires for sure!!
