Went to Dr. Parris at CU Dermatology yesterday. He seemed almost upset that he had to see me when he walked into the room. He looked at my face under a light for 5 seconds, told me I had acne (duh) and gave me a prescription. When asking about Accutane, in so many words he said because I'm a woman and have periods, Accutane won't help because my periods will cause more hormonal acne. (I have an IUD so that was irrelevant but he continued anyway). As I walked out he mentioned the CU Boulder College medical center and I realized he thought I was a student. I am not (26yo & working). Thus I have concluded, 1) I will not return to see this doctor. 2) If you are or your child is a young adult, I do not recommend this doctor. This man has no patience for young patients.

He is a real genius. He is not only a dermatologist but also a pathologist. He is super knowledgeable and thus knows what you have wrong. If you want someone with bedside manner visit your priest or rabbi. If you want a DOCTOR see Dr. Parris.

i would not recommend anyone or anything to dr parris.he over medicated my face leaving it looking 25 years older than i am.i am sooo depressed.

Dr. Parris has treated all the members of my immediate family including myself for many years.He's a very knowledgeable doctor and I highly recommend him.
