I really hate going to doctors and always get terrible anxiety. I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Rico through a recommendation from a friend. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is truly caring and concerned about his patients' long term well-being and health. He is also thorough and thoughtful and spends time with you so you never feel rushed. He is amazing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Rico has been my primary care physician for several years now, and I highly recommend him if you are in the Raleigh area. He is detail oriented, accurate, thorough, personable, and kind. He remembers things from prior visits and inquires about them. He returns calls himself to give feedback when needed.

I have seen Dr. Rico twice now when my regular doctor was not available. Both times, Dr. Rico was more interested in looking at the computer screen than in establishing eye contact with me. He was dismissive of my symptoms, and expressed reluctance at doing anything more than letting time pass to see if my symptoms diminished. I left both times feeling as though he wasn't interested in understanding my health concerns or helping me either diagnose or treat them

I saw Dr. Rico because I was told I could no longer see my regular doctor of 20 years because I hadn't been for so long and had been dropped (which turned out to be incorrect). I liked Dr. Rico and really felt like he listened and tried to do his best. Making an appointment was a hassle due to all the misinformation, which is why I gave ease of appt. 2 stars. The actual appointment with Dr. Rico was fine though.
