Dr. Anthony Denis Udo-Inyang, MD

This Dr delivered my first child in 1994. While I was in labor at Wyandotte hospital, I could clearly hear another woman laboring in the next room, then heard her let out an ear piercing scream, followed by a baby cry. I was 18 at the time and terrified and that scream didn't help. My daughter was delivered early the next morning and the ear piercing scream? It's because he performed my episiotomy without waiting for the anesthetic to work. I did not have an epidural or any other pain meds. When I reacted to this, obviously extreme pain, I was actually scolded and told to 'stop screaming' by both him and his nurse. When having my second child, I mentioned this experience to my Lamaze educator and was told that the nurses are aware that he does this often as to 'make unwed mothers think about their choices'. Upon my 6 week checkup, I asked for the birth control that was inserted under the skin (since discontinued) and was mortified and offended when he told me he won't… prescribe that to 'promiscuous' women. The fact that I'm writing this review 27 years later, should illustrate how large the negative impact this man made on me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Dr. Udo has been my OB/GYN since 2004. He has seen me through 2 difficult pregnancies. He also diagnosed my mothers uterine cancer and saved her life after her former Dr failed at recognizing her symptoms for what they were. I will never go to anyone else as long as he is practicing. I will be forever grateful to him.

I have endometriosis. It has been a burden on my life for years. I was in pain constantly and was recommended to Dr. Udo for a laparoscopy. He found my endo and had to make some tough decisions for me and my quality of life. He was right. I am still healing but he is the man I owe my recovery to. I can't imagine being in anyone else's hands for the complicated and painful illness I have. He is the best. He listens, he is kind, and he is thorough. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows. I recommend him to everyone.

I’ve been going to Dr. Udo for approximately 7 years now. My daughter worked for him at his office. I decided to switch gynecologists and began going to Dr. Udo. He’s very informative. Yes, sometimes you may have to wait awhile to see him. That’s because he’s goes over your history completely and discusses your issues with you. Best doctor I’ve been to and I would recommend him to anyone looking for excellent care.

I have been going to Dr. Udo for a very long time and would never go any where else. Highly recommend him.

Dr Udo, is absolutely fantastic. I met him at 23 weeks pregnant during an e.r visit. I didn't have insurance and nobody would accept me as a patent and he said he'd see me, I continued seeing him through my pregnancy, and he delivered my son and was so kind and gentle, very attentive and always listened to what I had to say, and double checked everything. I'd highly recommend him.

In 2010 i was rushed to emergency threating a miscarriage at 13 weeks due to having a very short cervix. Upon being discharged i was referred to Dr. Udo clinic. I made my appointment to see him the next day and 2 days later he scheduled my surgery to have a cerclage put in place to prevent me from miscarring my baby. He was very prompt about what needed to be done. He was always on call whenever i needed him for questions or concerns. One year later after delivering my son I returned to his clinic and he also delivered my daughter. I absolutely love him, he is excellent and he is the best OB/GYN I've ever had. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Udo has been my doctor for 8 years and has seen me through 4 pregnancies he is amazing, I will never have a different ob as long as he's available.

Dr. Udo has been my gynecologist for about 25 years. He is always caring and professional. I have referred several women to him for care and at least 2 of them were saved by his quick, accurate diagnosis and treatments.
