Dr. Anthony J Vecchiarelli, MD

My family have been with Dr, Vecchiarelli since we moved to the Springs in 1992. He and his staff have gone out of their way to help with any health issues we have had over the years. He has saved my life more times than I can count and even assisted a surgeon during one of my procedures. He even made a house call on Christmas day after my husband’s knee replacement surgery when he was having heart issues. Five stars is not enough for this man. Dr. V is the most caring and skilled doctor we have ever had and we are more than pleased to be with his practice.

We'd been with Pine Ridge Family Medicine and Doctor V for about six or seven years. Unfortunately, the front office staff is difficult to work with and unreliable with prescriptions (most recent issue was last month with wife's prescription being sent to the wrong pharmacy, which costs us money and time to track down). In general, the Direct Patient Care (DPC) model is expensive and difficult to justify. In order to justify spending thousands of dollars each year to Pine Ridge Family Medicine even during the years we've had no issues (which was most years), their service has to be consistently responsive and of a high standard of care. Unfortunately, due to additional staff who are incompetent or apathetic, this practice has gone downhill over the past year or so. We finally decided we needed to move on to a better practice and terminate our DPC membership with Pine Ridge Family Medicine. I thought this would be difficult, but actually I am feeling very relieved to no longer be… spending all that money for such poor service. Last fall, my son and his family relocated to the Springs area from out of state and wanted to try the DPC model, so we recommended Pine Ridge Family Medicine. My son and daughter-in-law did their own research and selected a different DPC practice which offers better access to specialists and a better value for their monthly payment. My son's decision opened my eyes up to the failures of Pine Ridge Family Medicine and helped us make the decision to terminate our services with them, especially after the most recent issue with our prescriptions. If you are forced to go the DPC route, apparently there are better choices in the Springs than Pine Ridge Family Medicine. These days, it seems Pine Ridge Family Medicine is focused more on sustaining their business model (new staff and new building) than the quality of patient care.

Dr. Vecchiarelli is an amazing physician!

I have been a patient of Dr. Vecchiarelli for over 20 years. Dr. Vecchiarelli listens and has never made me feel that he was ever in a rush!!! He is truly cares. Dr. Vechiarelli is very professional and in a nutshell awesome. The professional care for his patients is also shared by his staff. I have just moved to Texas and will miss him and his staff.

Dr. Vecchiarelli is a wonderful doctor. Very kind and caring. I would highly recommend this office!

I've been seeing Dr. V for over 15 years. He has been very consistent over those years, in terms of quality of service provided, accuracy of diagnosis, and resolving the problem. I enjoy visiting with him, as he makes me feel very comfortable, even when the situation might be a bit uncomfortable due to the nature of the exam. Recommend him and his staff highly.

Dr, Vecchiarelli, Is a very caring Physician. Someone who listens to your physical symptoms and is intent on finding the right solution. He makes sure to personally call you for important test results. The office staff are very courtious and friendly.
