Dr. Antoinina C Watkins, MD

Do not go to this doctor or her staff, she is heartless and rude. Does not want to answer questions, rushes you thru the appointments. Very unkind...retire if you dont like people any more. Horrible worst experience with a doctor ever!!!

She lacks compassion. I had gone to hospital while in labor, my contractions stopped and they sent me home. I had appointment with Dr. Watkins that day so I went to meet her at the clinic and went into labor again, this time contractions were strong. She made me wait, my husband requested many times and other patients started to worry looking at me. The staff was scared too. She finally saw me, checked me and said the I was 6 1/2 cm dilated already and was very rude. I was in pain and she said to me "you are the one who keeps having children so why complain about the pain". This was my second pregnancy and I was so furious but since I could not do much, I could have delivered my baby in the car. Reached the hospital and delivered my baby in triage room as soon I lay down. They did not have anytime to assess or check but to deliver the baby. I reported this to the management but no action was taken, did not receive any apology. She is not fit to be a doctor.

She only cares about her plans for you and she takes advantage of the new and vulnerable moms forcing me into a c-section. Cutting me open before my support made it in the room so that by the time he came in, he saw my guys unexpectedly. She did not care about any of my labor plans.

I was hospitalized with severe anemia due to a large fibroid. When she came to see me in the hospital she wanted to discharge me without doing any follow up bloodwork after my transfusion.I still felt weak and very ill. She sent me home with no instructions. One week later I was back at the hospital, needing a second transfusion. If it weren’t for my primary care doctor worrying about my health, I would probably be dead. She was abrasive and not compassionate. I don’t understand how this woman is a doctor. Stay away from her and Women’s Care Florida.

Worst experience with OB GYN ever. Did not listen, lectured me for having an alternate approach to my care based on specialist advice and my choice from those options. Blasted all specialist care I've ever had including that given by her peers. Bizarre.

I've been seeing Dr Watkins for 12 years and I have always had a very positive experience with the office staff and her. She takes a lot of time with me and I really appreciate it. Also you can have your yearly mamo done at the same time!!

Office staff told me that they just needed my medical records to transfer. After three weeks of calling every day to ask if they got my records, they called back and said I was too high risk for them to take on. I never even spoke to Dr. Watkins. She was too much of a coward to even call me back personally or offer a reasonable explanation.

As a nurse I have great respect for the ability of this MD to make intelligent assessments&quick decisions without sacrificing bedside manner. When I was pregnant,if I needed to be in and out of the office quickly, I would special request this MD. Also ,when my son was about to be delivered sooner than expected the nurse paged any MD stat-and she was the first to show up!
