Dr. Anton Borisovich Rostovskiy, MD

Since someone else quoted the doctor, thought I would too! "The bedroom is for sleeping and for sex only." is a direct quote from Dr. Rostovsky. I had sleep issues. The doctor and I started discussing what happens when I wake up. I said I turn on the lights, maybe go to the bathroom, turn on the TV. He then said as I quoted above. He was trying to make a point that a TV does not belong in the bedroom and may disturb my sleep patterns if I use it as a crutch and turn it on. I mean point well taken maybe, but what does sex have anything to do with it?

Dr Rostovsky took his time and gave me relevant information and adequate referral. I'm good.

I was borderline overweight, 152 pounds at 5'5" and cholesterol levels of 218. In both regards, Dr. Rostovsky said he wasn't concerned. He thought my weight and cholesterol were both just fine. Meanwhile the charts say I am slightly overweight and heart disease runs in my family too. 218 or so is a little high especially compared to the year before where is was 184. My LDL went from 95 to 139; huge jump! Did he not note that? Since he wasn't concerned, nor was I. So I have kept with my same diet and exercise. I retook tests this year. My new cholesterol is now 243; LDL of 163. Should I be concerned now Dr. Rostovsky? So whereas he could have nipped something in the bud last year, he chose not be concerned and now I have a bigger problem. I am sure I will turn it around since I am in the know now, but can't help to remember how this doctor didn't see obvious warning signs.

Dr. Rostovsky is an EXCELLENT physician. He is very bright and up on all the newest medical information, but it is his beside manner that is unique and special. He is kind, compassionate and cares deeply for his patients. He see the patient on time (which is unheard of now a days). He is the best physician to whom I have been in years.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rostovsky. I arrived BEFORE my appointment time. There was a long line at reception, so by the time I was checked in, it was about 5 or 10 minutes after my appointment time. Several minutes after checking in, the receptionist informed me that the doctor would not see me and that I would have to reschedule. Even after explaining that I had been there on time and that I was paying for a babysitter so I could be at this appointment, he refused to see me. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I am disgusted.

I like Dr. Rostovsky but when someone who knows my personal information, calls me by my last name (Ms. so and so) I am out of there. It happened to me with an accountant once. Now it's happening again. Do they think it's polite? It's not polite when they know about all my tests results! (or my finances in the case of the accountant). I don't know. Maybe it's me...

Dr. Rostovsky is an excellent dr. Who cares about his patients, and does his best to make sure they receive the best care he can offer them. I recons him very highly.
