Awful office. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Office manager is a complete rude, disinterested fool. Walls are per thin. Complete joke of a practice.

Staff was incompetent and unprofessional. Entire session was trying to focus above the noise generated by office staff partying and laughing with each other. Office manager was disinterested, stand offing, snarky and rude. Office walls were thin enough that others could easily overhear discussion. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

Bad service

I have been a patient with Dr. Cubano for more than 3 years. He's perceptive and advanced in the treatment of PTSD and Chronic Depressive Disorder. His staff are polite and professional. That being said, I have severe PTSD and it was an uphill battle with inadequate care for years before locating a doctor with on staff therapists who specializes in EMDR Therapy. Which I was not sure of until I had a treatment and a week passed, realized while waiting in the office for the next appointment that I had been less reclusive and more at ease in the week following than I had felt in years. No fight or flight and I was able to start leaving my home without feeling intense anxiety. I felt the lock to the prison being broken. Due to other events outside of treatment that caused additional trauma, I spoke with Dr. Cubano about Ketamine Infusion Therapy. My PTSD has been due to ongoing threats and I have lived fight or flight for more than 18 years with no peace. When I discovered Ketamine… therapy through research on my own and looked for providers I found Dr. Cubano offered this in his practice. He is not openly pushing this as a suggested therapy and there are qualifying prerequisites to be a candidate for approval of Ketamine Infusion. After he advised me I was a candidate and explained at length the process, I proceeded with the treatments. They are not covered by insurance but a small investment in peace and returning to being an active member of a normal life. If I could best describe my experience, it was a instant immediate healing. Through 10 days of 5 closely monitored infusions I felt whole again, a smile real. My need to rejoin society and enjoy the things that used to bring me joy returned. While the infusions are administered I was monitored both by Dr. Cubano, a paramedic who was by my side and a member of Dr. Cubanos staff was present. We discussed before and after the treatments how I was feeling. It was a life changing experience and one that seems to cure the cells in the frontal lobe that are affected during a traumatic event. Anyone who suffers from ptsd can relate to the prison we feel locked in and this turned out to be my key to resuming a happy calm and the ability to look my demons in the eye and feel fear no more. His goal ultimately to cure me. He's easy to talk with and listens intently. He's present in the moment when discussing and has no nonsense opinions of how to deal with external factors from a more logic driven approach to avoid letting demons resurface not of my doing. His staff is equally involved and he is progressive in finding cures, not ongoing unending treatments. I wanted to get better for years before I found this practice, it was hit or miss and meds that did not work from prior providers. Dr. Cubano was very educational with the Ketamine Therapy and the environment he has in his office for the therapy is very peaceful and helps with the process. Although it's more expensive the long term gains to be therapy free and free of anti-depressant medication which did not work for my PTSD fast tracked me to disguarding this horrible affliction for good and cleared me of my fears.

This office is a joke. They are only in it for the money and really do not care about patients. It’s a shame that the vulnerable people that need help are treated like a nuisance. They are in over their heads so much that they cannot give appropriate treatment unless you want to drop $6,000 for his ketamine treatments. Do you want paperwork signed for disability? He only signs then on Fridays, after you pay $350.00. Do you need his office to contact your insurance company to authorize a medication he raves about and recommends? They don’t have enough staff to do so. “Just pick a medicine that your insurance already pre-approves.” Yup, because all medications work the same in every individual....PRISCILLA Do they answer any of your emails? Nope, move along. Do they charge you for drug testing at every visit so they get a kickback from the laboratory? Yes, sir. All the people that work here don’t care about you or your circumstances. And they are in the mental… health industry. It’s really sad.

Absolutely horrible staff. Dr. Cubano is arrogant and indifferent. He's all about the money. Parks his very expensive car in front of the office for all to see. You will be lucky to get 5-10 minutes of his time. Given the mental/emotional state of many of his clients he should not be in the business he is in. He enjoys playing "god". Seriously, you WILL be made to feel small and insignificant. He will dismiss your concerns and become downright hostile should you question his policies. Speaking of policies, he makes stuff up on a weekly basis. He forces all patients to take a urinalysis test prior to each visit (not required by law) and hides behind his personal interpretation of Floridas relatively new opioid law requiring strict control of schedule II drugs (applies to pain medication, not the type used for psychiatric treatment). It is clear that this doctor has discovered and exploits his patients for even more money. Interestingly he states that it's because he's discovered… that many of his patients are either not taking their medication or are abusing illicit drugs. Hmmm.. funny given the fact that he hands out prescriptions like candy. the office is tiny.. the staff is indifferent, obnoxious, self important, and rude. you will be in a waiting room little bigger than a small den with people crammed in all over each other. Privacy? None. Dignity? None. Finding someone in that office that will help with a prescription problem or other concern... NO WAY!! Anyone with half a brain should know that no staff could get away with that kind of behavior without the owner/doctor being complicit. The simple fact of the matter is that the staff mimics the doctor. If you care about yourself or your loved ones I implore you to look elsewhere. there are a lot of very good doctors with compassionate and professional employees on staff. Please avoid this place at all cost.

Run.. don't walk.. Run away from this place. The simple and unfortunate fact is this office is a pill-mill. The office is absolutely in disarray. It is tiny. the office staff are jammed into a room the size of a small walk in closet (4 people). They are rude, obnoxious, and totally disinterested in the patient. The doctor is after $$'s. Your care is secondary. they write prescriptions bu then refuse to help with pre-authorizations leaving you with a prescription that can't be filled. They don't care. You will be forced to do a urinalysis at a lab before each visit. Not required by law but another way for the doctor to make money. You WILL be treated with disrespect. You will be made to feel powerless and small. You will be treated with disdain if you so much as question the staff about a silly rule. You can be a highly compensated professional or a ditch digger.. no matter.. you will be equally treated as a commodity, abused and dismissed, with equality. There is no privacy in… this office. You will be forced to pay a copay for each visit. Did they screw up a prescription forcing you to come back to get it fixed?another copay. They now have a "consultant" on staff. There is NO WAY this slob is a "consultant". Winning money says he's an enforcer or body guard to keep the many addicts that visit this office in line. Please.. if you have any sense of dignity do not come to this office.. you will come to regret it.

Staff never returns calls or answers the phone. Staff very rude and unwilling to work with you on issues. Just found out he refuses to do pre-authorizations so I can't get the prescription HE prescribed me in the first place! Every time I go in, there seems to be some new charge. Avoid at all costs.

The staff is terrible about returning phone calls so dont bother leaving a message. And when you do get ahold of them the few times I have been able too as well as when I’ve heard them speak to other patients you can clearly tell that they hate their job and do not care at all for the suffering patients, just a horrible experience that I couldn’t of been more disappointed in. When I finally do speak with Dr.Cubano the who time i felt rushed and like I was taking up his time while he was barely even listening to me as he held a smerk and answered every question with an almost exasperated sigh! Completely rude and uncalled for, I highly suggest staying away from this place as it has the potential to send an already struggling person through more stress and trouble then anyone deserves
