Dr. Anu Krishna Murthy, MD

I had a wonderful time with Dr. Murthy. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns. I'm not quite sure why other reviewers were so harsh; my experience with her was fantastic.

This Dr. was extremely rude and off putting, I went through great lengths to get an appointment with her and was having some issues and was told that dealing with such technicalities was beneath her. She did no check up and faked a physical exam. She did not bother to ask if I had anything else going on. Terrible. Will not be coming back.

Dr. Murthy is very informative, friendly and listens with sincere interest. She is a very effective physician.

Dr. Murthy is both compassionate and thorough, and has an excellent fund of knowledge. I highly recommend entrusting anyone in your family to her care! Her knowledge base of all ages is appreciated- I felt comfortable seeing her myself and also sending my child to her as a patient.

Awkward person, no bedside manner. Personality like an engineer. Tells you one thing in person then has bimbo receptionist call and leave a message with different info. Does not return calls and has unskilled staff in her office. Don't bother with her.

I went for a routine check-up,..in one week I received a letter that all my tests were ok,...when I asked the results my pap smear was abnormal,my thyroid was hypo,...I was shocked,...I called her and she apologized,...What? I never,never had this experience,...and I'll not go again to this irresponsible doctor.

I am just astonished. After years of being on Kaiser's revolving door medicine, we changed health insurance, and I chose Dr. Murthy as my new primary care doctor. Not since I was a kid has a doctor taken the time and trouble to sit down and talk to me. I really felt like she cared about me as a patient, and was interested in my health. It wasn't a fluke. I got the same treatment on the next visit, plus the office staff followed up with me to make sure I had done something I was supposed to do. I felt like Dr Murthy was knowledgeable as well, which I would expect, since I researched her background before going to see her. I just have to add, the previous reviewer had no need to be so nasty and personal. That was unnecessary, but sadly, since this website does not appear to require any personal information to leave a review, entirely too anonymous and too easy. I will step off my soapbox now, but would like to make it clear that I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Murthy.

Dr. Murthy could not make it as an Engineer so she went back to Medical School. There is no wait because she has no patients. She tells you one thing in person then has her office asst of the day leave a voicemail with an entirely different message. She does not return calls or follow-up. NO PERSONALITY!

I can't say enough good things about the medical care I receive from dr. murthy. She has excellent bed side manner and diagnosed me when no other doctor I had visited was able to figure out my asthma issues. I highly recommend her. She takes her time with you and you do not feel rush.

Dr. Murthy is a wonderful and caring doctor. She spends time talking with you and not rushing through the appt as insurance would like. She is cautious and is not quick to throw a pill at you. I highly recommend her.
