Dr. Anuj Andy Sharma, DO

I have been seeing Dr Sharma close to 20 years. He walks in the room and always says hi before anything. He always has a smile on his face and is so friendly. He treats me like he would want to be treated. He listens to my needs and if I need a shot he gives me several in the areas I need them and you can’t feel them. He is so gentle when he gives them. All I can say is he is the best pain management doctor around. I find it very hard to believe for those that complain because that is not like him. I think their problem is he won’t give them the drug they want. I have been there when some have begged for a certain medication. He is a smart doctor and can see right through you. Some of you may have slipped by but your time will come. Wish there were more doctors as thoughtful as as Dr. Sharma and I truly thank him for all the years he has helped me.

I have had Dr Sharma as my pain mgmt doctor for over 4 years. I am a retired/disabled RN of over 40 yrs. He is one of the smartest, professional and compassionate doctors I have had the privilege of seeing. He always has time to answer patients questions. He is also very knowledgeable about my condition, which is rare. His office staff is excellent, also. Very friendly and caring. Office very organized. I highly recommend him for anyone needing an excellent pain mgmt. physician.

I had lower back fusion surgery about 8 years ago in Jacksonville. I am fused from my coccyx half way up my back. About four years after the surgery we moved to Mount Dora, FL and I searched for a very long time to find a pain management doctor. I wanted someone who would MANAGE my pain. not put me in a stupor so I couldn't function. I was so impressed with Dr. Shamra immediately as he wanted all the information from my previous doctors and surgeons even before he would see me. I drive over an hour, every other month over to his Villages office, to see him. He was thoughtful enough to offer to see me every other month instead of forcing me to come every month so I wouldn't have to make the trip so often. He always asks how I am doing and asks if there is anything more he can do to ease my pain. I probably would have done myself in before now if it weren't for him. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting someone to manage their pain...not mask it with opiates. He truly cares!!! and I… am grateful every day for him.

Office is Professional, Clean and Efficient. Dr. Sharma is Very Professional and Thorough. I have much confidence in Dr. Sharma and this Office.

What abomination this person is. A doctor? NO. My wife is a nurse of 25 years with a very bad back where she can not walk at times. She will ask fo and take No opiates. This quack agreed that her condition was bad yet he offered No treatment what so ever. No local shots to help and there are many available. This louse made us wait three months between visits, NEVER returned phone calls EVER. I detest his lack of methods and caring. STAY AWAY.

This doctor was able to treat my serious medical condition after a near fatal auto crash. He was able to get me away from chiropractors who were not helping and avoid unnecessary spine surgery, which my attorneys were pushing for. He treated me with care and compassion. His staff is excellent.

My MD REFERRED ME TO him due to MRI results of my neck and back ,several bulging discs, degenerative spine scoliosis forimanal narrowing with stenosis subluxation bone spurs comp fx with dehydrated t11 and 5 rib comp fxs almost broke neck age 19 and coccyx age 6 OA,DM EXCRUCIATING HEADACHES POST CRANIOTOMY 3 BRAIN ANEURYSMS Door said pain mgt & THERAPY He spent 1 min with me saying why are U here who sent U here & said keep doing what you are doing & sent me on my way I said can't U at least RX a TENS UNIT OR SOMETHING He said yeah if your INS WILL COVER IT and DLA door in my face About$ was giving others Rx's & inj I was disabled nurse on Medicaid UHC COMMUNITY PLAN INS He could have at least offered THERAPY So, I gather that's on his door as a COVERUP

Went to the office today after waiting 4 months for a appointment i have osteoarthritis and herniated disk no feeling in my hands hips or feet to be told on my second visit nothing is wrong with me i just have back spasms well these have leanded ke in the er day after day been dealong with it for 5 years been diagnosed 5 years ago i see specialist every moth to handle my condition he tells me my first visit my doctors are liers i have fibermialga puts me on meds which im allergic to i go in a month later he says nothings wrong with me its just spasims 5 years and specialists say different i can hardly move i was excited to go to someone who can maybe finally help me i tell him what works he does the opposite keeps u on the same meds so now im a lab rat at his disposal and im not getting any better ive gotten worse and now all the sudden because i went to the er he has to review my file before he can set a appointment really because they gave me pain meds really ur not doing ur job he… keeps re diagnosing me instead of managing my pain im in really bad pain now crying in my car cant drive or move but yet im joking

Very unprofessional. Speaks down to you, etc. Yells at you. Does not provide to=you with the best interest in your health needs.
