Always takes ridiculous amount of time to schedule and then when the appt finally comes around, prepare to be waiting all day once they get your in a room. The appointment itself is about 3-4 mins long if that, rushed the whole way through and really just consists of her checking boxes. If a diagnosis is not printed in a textbook with a list of what to do about it, she will be lost. Gave me a million "if this then that" treatments and nothing has ever helped me. Not sure what any of this was based on because the last time I was there they lost my urine sample and she didn't even realize it until I asked about the results. Feels like I have to remind her of every part of my history at each appt and by the time were through with that the appt time is up. It ultimately is just disheartening and frustrating, not to mention her nurse is always rude and preoccupied. I know she is very busy but if you aren't helping anybody whats the point? My mom and sisters used to see her as well and we… have all switched.

I trusted this doctor with everything. Picked her from a long list of doctors when I needed the most care from a doctor. Turns out, she was the worse decision for me and my baby. She is rough, not sympathetic, always in a hurry, and treats you like another number. No bedside manner. She doesn't like when you ask too many questions, and if you press for information, she gets rough with answering. If you don't follow her rules she will target you and start talking to you harshly and treating you differently. She may even fire you from her office! Maybe she is swamped, but she needs to stop and understand that she is dealing with women and their babies. She misrepresented her surgical skills, and basically butchered me in a C-section, with absolutely no remorse after the 6 week visit. Lingering pain in stomach, numbness in stomach, no remorse or care from her or her team. DO NOT GET A C-SECTION WITH HER! They will pump you with a lot of opioid and medication without looking… carefully at what you really need, when at the hospital.

Dr Vyas is my new gyn after moving here just a couple of months ago. She has proven to be a better doctor than the head of the gyn department at the medical school where I last lived. She is organized, really intelligent, and no nonsense, but kind, and really competent. In just one month, she has made my auto-immune problem SO much better. And she's been very kind knowing that it is a painful condition that requires expertise. I am so relieved to have found her. I know if someone is also an obstetrician, you will have wait times because babies and OB issues that are urgent will come first no matter how long ago you scheduled a GYN appt. Bring your kindle or book, and realize that she will not always be on time if she's been pulled away for urgent matters. Just be glad there is a doctor this good in the med center that you can still get an appointment with.

Dr Vyas is one of my favorite people, though she may not know it. She cared for me throughout my pregnancy and delivered my baby quickly and safely. When she walked in the room, it was very clear who was in charge. She was calm, clear, and reassuring. I'm happy to say that I sent her some of my friends who also love her after having their babies. My only regret is moving away before having my second baby, so I have to find another OB. Dr Vyas, I love you!! Truly...

I was referred to Dr. Vyas for vulvodynia in 2010 and have been seeing her ever since. She also became my regular Gyn because I love her so much. I've had multiple treatments including surgery with her. She is by far my favorite doctor and Makes you feel like a friend as soon as she walks in. She is extremely knowledgable and is happy to answer any question you may have. I love the fact that she's on your side and will give you her honest opinion, not try to sell you on unnecessary treatments or medications. My only complaint would be the wait can be a little long for both scheduling appointments and once you get there, but she is in high demand! You have to reserve at least half a day for your appointment, but she's worth it.

Following initial visit, I rate Dr. Vyas very highly. She was very professional and I was confident in her assessment of my situation.

If you like to meet with the nurse and nurse practitioner rather than the doctor, she will be the best doctor for you. You will for sure see doctor once every 4 visits and meet with her lovely team all the other time.
