Dr. Anuradha Kantamani, MD

I went in today for bloodwork and consulatation to only encounter a very rude, unprofessional, bad talking African American receptionest.. In brief decription about this non stop (ghettto) and so unprofessional so called female blew out on me from out of no where with such an angry attitude and making up versions to her side on how I was on the phone and also knocking on her window while her on the phone.. THIS LADY IS INSANE all happened I walked in signed in and waited my turn to be called.. In her furiating tone of voice yells across the rooom telling me i have not met my deductible and slams the window shut. I walk up and waited for her to open the window and was fixing to tell her about a pending one I had and wanted to pay off but instead she gets ahead of me telling me ( well now you are ready for me and now you want me to take your payment well NOOO !! I am not and slams the window close.. UNBELIVABLE !!! Man that was just the start as I tried to explain she woulld not let me… talk and she made sure to lock the door that takes you inside and she kept going and going and on top of that she was calling security so I could be removed.. I am like what is happening with this evil lady. All through out the entire time she yells louder and louder controling the situation and what makes it worse was the only two witnesses that I had saw her first reacion towards me after that I had no one in there to witness what was happening.. I didint want to give up bc I really needed to get seen and in inclusion I've had this doctor for many year so finally Kantamani steps out and again the wired angry lady would not let me talk and furthermore the physician talk either. Sadly this was my last and final day having her as my physician and sadly to say that because I honeslty didint see a fight to keep a patient and thoroughly now I understand where all the true rumors were coming from ..YES. their own personnel experiences. Last but not least behind curtains this physician has always been very disrepsectul and rude to her own roatation staff and maybe she needs to realize that's the treatment she has been giving to all of them and now the girls are getting fed up and now taking it out on their patients. This would be my final say for this office location. My ranking would be less than a 0. Yet if you decide to chose her for your doc.. I advise you to be very observant and cautious. Luck.

very bad experience. She was not confident about my diagnosis and was not able to direct me to the right doctor. They wait time is over 2 hours!! its ridiculous

I gave 1 star because of the front office staff rudeness. The front office staff rode and uncooperative. If she don't get rid of then she will loose all her patients.

Find another doctor now. Front desk staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. START RANT. I called in about a bill I received and was advised it was my insurance's fault and the explanation did not even make sense. I was advised that my co-pay that I paid was charged to my deductible. I called my insurance and found out that Dr. Kantamani's contract with AllSavers is not listed as a Primary Care Contact and that my co-pay should really be charged as a Specialist co-pay. I advised my insurance that I called to verify my insurance prior to even scheduling my appointment and was advised that indeed it was a normal office copay. I called Dr. Kantamani's office back and when I explained what the insurance said, they abruptly said, "Please hold." I literally was on hold for 20 minutes! Enough time to make myself breakfast, eat, AND do the dishes. The call hung up. I called back and advised I was on hold for 20 minutes and that they hung up, and the girl answers, "First of… all, the phone hangs up after 13 minutes so you couldn't have been on hold for 20 minutes!" And I responded, "It's good customer service to at least communicate and click back over to advise what is going on." The girl responds, "Gabriel is on the phone with your insurance now so do you want to hold or not?" My reply: it would have been simple to just let me know what is going on and to offer to call me back instead of keeping me on hold." All of a sudden, Dr. Kantamani is on the phone. I started off by saying, "Dr. Kantamani, I like you as a doctor but your front desk needs to learn some customer service." She says she does not know what is going on and as I proceed to try and explain, she keeps cutting me off so I just start laughing out of frustration and tell her she is not even letting me explain. Dr. Kantamani then tells me she is not listening to me because she is just starting her day and spending 30 minutes trying to deal with this is making her have a bad day! I laugh and say, I'm suppose to be working and instead have to deal with this so this is not a great start to my day either! Call ends with her telling me to give them two weeks to figure it out. INSERT DEEP SIGH. Great customer service is so hard to find but when your own doctor admits to not listening to you, I guess it's safe to say the apple does not fall far from the tree. Don't waste your time or money going here if you expect great customer service or a staff that TRULY cares.

Walked in and the staff didn't even acknowledge my existence. I had an apt at 9:15 am and they didn't tell me if they'll be right with me etc. I just sat and waited til they called my name. Good for if you HAVE to see someone otherwise just go somewhere else.

Dr. Anuradha Kantamani is an remarkable Internist and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent, competent and well-informed doctor. She always takes time to speak to each patient to provide pertinent and helpful medical context and resources to correct your medical issues. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kantamani for 11 years and we feel very fortunate to have her as our primary physician.

After waiting for long time, I was told that the doctor cannot see me that day!! They do not value other's time. Very rude and careless office staff. The dcotor does not return your calls, had to call her many times to talk to her. I would never go back and would not recommend her to any one too.

This was my first visit as a new patient. Hardly spent 5 mins. She doen't have time to listen my problem. Billed Insurance $1200 for first visit. The worst doctor I have ever visited.
