Dr. Anuradha Gomathy Seshadri, MD

I had to see Dr. Anu in place of my regular physician as they were out of office and it was such a great experience. Just to preface this, I have terrible anxiety about doctors/doctor offices. She came in, introduced herself, discussed what she had seen on my charts (I was so excited she had looked at my charts!), immediately addressed my concerns and explained anything I was confused on. I also enjoyed seeing her because she seems very relatable and down to earth. I didn’t feel like I had to exaggerate anything, she could tell I was worried about my symptoms and wrote out some referrals to double check things. I highly recommend her, I recognize not everyone is going to have the same exp. with a doctor, but this is coming from someone who is always scared at the doctor!

Dr. Seshadri is truly a compassionate physician! She really listens to me as her patient, and always makes sure that we have a thorough dialogue about any concerns I have. Medical visits with her are actually enjoyable, even when I'm super sick! She's also just a lovely person, and I am so happy that I was matched up with her when I came over to LA!

I visited Dr. Seshadri with a sinus infection. She diagnosed me with allergies because she trained under an allergist. This is a rampant problem with physicians that they make a diagnosis based on their training and experience and often void of facts. She did not order any diagnostics tests (not even a CBC) I have a bacterial infection. This could have been diagnosed with a PCR-based RPP (Biofire) or similar test.

My son loves seeing his doctor she is warm empathetic fun - so loving and sweet. I literally hug her every time i see her. Such a special person.

I have never written a review before, but after such a terrible experience with Dr. Anu, I feel that I should so that other people know. I went to her for a physical - during which she was completely disengaged, didn't ask personal questions and incorrectly assumed at one point I had just given birth. I received my test results from the UCLA hub (no notes, comments etc), and over the course of 3 weeks, wrote several messages asking for some sort of analysis. I called them twice as well. I have yet to receive any response. I have had other good experiences with UCLA, but this has been frustrating and terrible. I would not recommend.

Sheshadri ignorantly prescribed dangerous antibiotic for relatively minor condition. Very lucky I research everything before taking now because this could have caused big problems. Thank the higher powers I did not take and did get better without it. Unfortunately, whether intentional or not, she was not thoughtful or judicious in prescribing very strong antibiotic for minor problem.

Saw Dr. Seshadri several times and have a great deal of confidence in her as my Primary Physician. She is outgoing, thorough, kind, knowledgable, and listens. All great qualities in a physician. She makes sure you feel relaxed and all your questions are answered. She is cautious with the medication she prescibes, especially for older patients. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Anu is my primary care physician, and I've had nothing but the best experience during every visit. She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She truly cares for the wellness of her patient. She doesn't rush to prescribe a ton of medicines, instead takes a wholesome approach of finding natural ways of handling concerns and prescribes only where needed. She is also very good at following up.

I have only seen Dr. Seshadri two times. I found her to be very personable, took time to listen, I never felt rushed and we thoroughly discussed a plan together. Follow up was timely and I had the exact same experience with her the second time. So far I'm impressed and happy with this doctor and her approach to my care.
