Dr. Ared Garan, MD

This review is solely based on my experience today. I had an appointment for 11:15 am because I needed a prescription urgently. I got there at 10:50, 25 minutes early. However, I was not seen until 12:20 pm. I had to wait over an hour, even though I had an appointment already, and on top of that Dr. Garan then tells me once he sees me that I did not even have to come in today. He said that I could have just called and he would have sent my prescription. My question then is, why was I then not told about this when I was making my appointment over the phone and told them specifically why I wanted the appointment? Or, why did they not inform me of that while I was sitting there waiting for an entire hour? I did not want to complain to Dr. Garan because he had a Ph.D. student there and I did not think it would be fair to make a scene then. Yet, it is very evident that there is a LACK of communication AND organization between all staff members and him. This would not have happened… otherwise. I am very disappointed with the fact that they would make someone wait for over an hour for an appointment that they supposedly did not even need to begin with, without informing that to the patient. They completely disregarded and did not care about my time or other obligations that I had to put aside to come in today thinking that I had to.

This doctor is full of it and operates from a man's perspective. He's pompous and has a his-way or the highway kind of attitude. Far from attentive to women with any sort of opinions about her own body and lacks empathy. Surrender to his opinions and recommendations and you'll sure have the nicest things to say about him. He seems to like a "yes" patient. He's also slightly vengeful with misplaced anger. Seemed he was dealing with personal issues that day, because it showed in his attitude. He was already fed up with a laboring me, that his examination was far from pleasant accompanied by nasty bed side manner and ordering around the nurses. I did not feel comfortable with him at all. I still suffer from nightmares from my birthing experience with this man. I wish I could erase it.

I have been under Dr. Garan's care for over six years. He delivered my first baby this past year and I can honestly say I trust his judgment 100%. I definitely recommend him.

Been going to him over 10 years. Excellent relationship and tells it like it is. I trust his medical opinions fully.

this is a wonderful doctor takes time to speak to me understands my issues makes me comfortable during exam and explained my issues fully and makes me understand. And even some bad habits i have cleared it up for me.

what a wonderful doctor we sat and talked so comfortably he asked about my history explained things about my blood pressure that my medical doctor had not explained and made me understand the importance of taking my medication, then he examined me i felt very comfortable and for first time my GYN exam did not hurt we then went back to his office and discussed the findings a great wonderful physician highly recommended.

Dr Garan is a great doctor. He is my doctor from 2002

a wonderful doctor who spent so much time with my history and explained even things that my medical doctor had failed to explain and as he took my history it became apparent that i had a condition no one picked up upon before. I love this doctor best i have seen in all my life.

Dr Garan is the best GYN doctor I have ever seen. Due to his expertise I live a happier healthier life. God Bless him.
