Dr. Kaz took phenomenal care of my ankle when I thought it would be fun to shatter it on a mound of ice. The entire process was clear to me, I healed much more quickly than I anticipated, and as a person who is moderately tattooed, the only place you can even tell I had surgery was below my ink! He stitched up my leg so well you can't even tell I had surgery under there. Kaz let me take pictures of my X-rays, Amanda was so kind, and I appreciated all the support I had through my very first broken bone!

This specific review is for Amanda Kies, the Secretary for Dr. Ari Kaz. On March 20th I ruptured my Achilles and was of course in severe pain and immensely terrified and anxious on what the next steps would be. When I arrived to Dr. Kaz' office I was panicked and upset because I didn't know if I would have to undergo surgery and also did not want that leg touched. Amanda entered warming and welcoming and calmed me down and even offered me treats :). Her bedside manner, if you will, was just what I needed and even during all of these months of recovery, Amanda has proven to continue to be sweet, welcoming and a true encouragement and light during my healing process!

No words can adequately thank Dr. Kaz. I have dealt with chronic ankle instability for the past 20 years and had given up on my passion of running. From answering my initial questions about the pros and cons of even trying a surgical repair, to proactively preparing me for the surgery and the recovery, to being available for any questions along the way, Dr. Kaz and his team (especially his medical assistant Amanda) were amazing, supportive, and responsive. My ankle ended up being more damaged than I was hoping, and Dr. Kaz did an amazing repair. My ankle is like new. I found Dr. Kaz to be upfront, honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and wonderful physician. I am so happy that I picked him to do my surgery. Even my scar looks great! I had a triple ankle fracture that required surgery and hardware to fix. Dr. Kaz was beyond helpful and kind the whole time through surgery, treatment, and recovery. Him and his staff were wonderful, very glad to be under their care.

He might be a great surgeon, but he needs help with how he talks to people.

I had severe pain in my left foot when walking from Morton's neuroma and a bunion. I was seeking treatment from a podiatrist that only masked the pain. I was then referred to Dr. Kaz and scheduled an appointment. I immediately knew that I made the right decision after he evaluated my foot and discussed my options in detail with me. It has been 4 months since my surgery and I am able to walk to/from work everyday and up to 8 miles on weekends pain free. I am so grateful and happy!

Dr. Kaz is the best. He has performed 3 surgeries on my foot and ankle and for the 1st time in many years I have can finally get around pretty good. He is very caring and good at what he does. He told me he was going to take very good care of me and he has.

I had a triple ankle fracture while skiing in Colorado. The local emergency center stabilized me just so I can get back to Chicago. That was on Friday. Dr. Kaz, who came strongly recommended, was able to see me as early as Monday. After doing an X-ray, he scheduled the surgery for Tuesday at Swedish Covenant hospital. The surgery went well - so well, in fact, that I often forget what my ankle has been through. It's been over two years and my ankle is doing great. Thank you, Dr. Kaz!
