My daughter was randomly having severe reactions to her school lunches, and our pediatrician was at a loss as to what was causing them. We took her to see Dr Kounvis, and he was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem as a pea protein allergy. He was very thorough and professional, and he provided us with clear instructions on how to manage the allergy and avoid triggers. We are so grateful and would highly recommend him to other parents.

I had a great visit with Dr. K. I booked an appointment with him because of the good reviews online and he takes care of my son's friend with food allergies, and they rave about him. Never felt rushed, he was a good listener and very intelligent. He even went out of his way to give my son extra stickers. Highly recommended.

I had a million questions about my immune system and getting coronavirus and he answered all of them, was able to get me tested for my peace of mind. My primary doctor just blew me off.

After testing I didnt end up having allergies but I appreciate the time he spent explaining what he thought was going on and what he would do next if he were me.

Great experience! My asthma is finally under control after years of suffering with it. Now on medication that works and starting treatment to desensitize me to my cats.

I was in to see Dr. Kounavis in 2012 after a hive outbreak and anyphalactic shock. After numerous tests we were unable to pin point the trigger and i was prescribed an epi pen for precaution. This year I returned to him after another large hive outbreak and we repeated bloodwork that was done in 2012 to correlate and see if there were any common trends. The bloodwork came back with no answers. I was advised to take Zyrtec indefinitely with no other follow up or looking into other testing. Consequently I had 3 more outbreaks while taking the zyrtec, one so bad that it lasted for 5 days without letting up. I chose to seek a second opinion as I did not feel that Dr Kounavis was interested in seeking to rule out any other alternative conditions. It turns out that I do have some pretty severe allergies that another doctor was able to pinpoint after one visit and I am now being put on a medication maitenance that has signigicantly helped. I wish I could have taken my $ and time elsewhere as… I would have had a lot less long term discomfort.
