Dr. Ariel Tenny Goldman, MD

Dr. Goldmen reassured me that I was going to be OK he made me feel so comfortable and he was just so caring.

Dr. Goldman is an amazing doctor and trauma surgeon. I came into the ER after being run over by a SUV. I had severe injuries and Dr. Goldman was able to do immediate surgery and put me back together. I am forever grateful for his talent as a surgeon.

I needed patella tendon surgery after playing sports. He showed great concern and gave me confidence that my knee would be fine after some apprehension. Surgery was a success and I have no joint pain, arthritis or any problems with my knee. I still play the occasional gave of basketball like he said I would. Eight years in.

Had a hip fracture repaired and it had to be turned into a hip replacement 2 weeks later because it fell apart. Then the hip replacement had to be redone because it was not anchored properly. He offered no explaination other than "it's a risk". Stay away. He did not seem to care about me needing 3 operations in 3 months.

The staff is rude disrespectful and does not know how to communicated with clients or even with other offices. I have never in my life dealt with people that are so incompetent or that actually made me write a review. .

Had surgery for a broken shoulder. Nerves in my hand worked before. Don't anymore. His answer? Wait. Never explained why it happened. So I waited. And 6 months later, still waiting and my other opinion told me it had to have happenend in surgery and that there is nothing to do other than reconstruct tendons. And he says "its a risk of the procedure. Just wait." For what? Incompetent.

Very happy with overall experience. Could be a tiny bit softer/better with nervous/anxious patients like myself, but that would be a bonus. Took time to explain and didn't sugar coat process or dismiss questions. Scarring will be minimal too, so has a good hand

I broke my wrist 6 months ago, and Dr Goldman has given me excellent care and has a very nice bedside manner. I would highly recommend his services.

I was seen by this doctor for followup from the ER for a broken shoulder. The orthopedic resident told me I had a simple shoulder fracture that would heal without surgery. Dr Goldman immediately wanted to operate. I mentioned that I was told it was "non-displaced" and he pompously said "That's why you've come to see an expert." He was irritated when I challenged him and wouldn't schedule surgery. A second opinion in the area told me no surgery whatsoever and 8 weeks later I'm doing great. I did not trust him at all, and I was proved correct. He is pompous and by reputation not very good. I would stay away.

I was taken to north shore hospital in long island after a car accident and was assigned this guy. he doesnt give off any confidence, and thats because he has none. he operated on my hip and arm and both were screwed up. the arm fell apart and had to be redone aa few months after the accident, and the hip was so bad the second surgeon told me to just wait and get a hip replacement done in a year. he also said the hip could have been fixed if done right the first time. ive heard from people at the hospital that he has a huge rate of foul ups and is a terrible surgeon.
