On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, I had an appointment at the Manassas, Virginia office of National Eye Care Associates with Dr. Ariel Taylor. When I called to schedule the appointment a few weeks prior, I told the receptionist that I am bed-ridden and in a wheelchair and unable to stand. When my caregiver took me into the exam room, I could not get close enough to the eye exam machine due to my wheelchair. The woman whom I assume was the doctor insisted that the only way for me to get a new prescription was for me to stand at this machine. Since I cannot stand, I had to leave the office without a new prescription. I was told to either call Medicare or a hospital to see if a doctor would be available to examine my eyes and give me a new prescription. So any prospective patients who are also in wheelchairs and unable to stand/walk are unable to get a new prescription at LensCrafters. This office is discriminating against handicapped people, which is against the law. How will your… company make this right?
