I had an appointment with Dr. Morrow for a pre-op today. She is a knowledgeable and thorough professional. During my visit an issue arose regarding the number of days I should stop taking a medication before surgery . Dr. Morrow researched recommendations online and called my surgeon’s office to verify when I should stop. She also provided me with a recommendation for an over the counter medication. Dr. Morrow is an excellent communicator and creates a very comfortable environment . The visit far exceeded my expectations.

I am a 60 year old woman who has spent most of her adult life looking for the “perfect” physician. It was truly an act of God that while on a surgical stay at Cedars Sinai Hospital that my prayers were answered in the form of Dr. Ariella Morrow. She was my hospital internist, and from the moment I met her, I knew there was something unique about her. Her knowledge, expertise, and interpersonal skills were so exceptional that I decided then that I would make a 40 mile journey to see her as my new physician. Dr. Morrow has a broad range of knowledge that exceeds the scope of her specialty. She is like a walking textbook on things that I would never have thought about. I have learned more from my two visits to her than I believe I’ve learned from most doctors cumulatively through the years. In addition, she has demonstrates expertise in her assessment and treatment of issues I needed help with. She takes her time during an exam, asks tons of relevant questions, and works to… help problem solve. If these reasons weren’t enough to switch to her, Dr. Morrow excels in every aspect of her communication with a patient. She is a careful listener. She explains clearly and thoroughly. She has a great sense of humor. She CARES. Dr. Morrow took the time to get to know “who” I am, and what I hope to see in my healthcare. Dr. Morrow also demonstrates compassion and kindness in a way that is atypical of many health care professionals. I think this is one of the first times in my life I didn’t feel like a “number.” I only write a review when I think there is a very good reason to. Dr. Ariella Morrow is top-notch. She is a stellar physician and worth any amount of time and effort that it would take me to get to Century City. I am so grateful that I can “age” in the care of someone who cares deeply about her patients and her profession.
