Dr. Saks does not care about his patients at all. He gave me a useless recommendation to take over the counter medicine for my issues, and asked me to come in for a follow up. He asked me, "Do you feel better?" to which I said "No" and he just chuckled and did not treat me like a human being. He dismissed me after 5 minutes, which was the shortest visit I've ever had with a doctor. Any question I asked, he gaslit me saying that he doesn't see any of the issues I am claiming to have. He made me feel like an insane person that is making stories up. He made me feel invalidated and unheard every visit. His face looked bored and disengaged. He does not care about you at all, and I get a feeling he asks you to come in for follow up visits just for billing purposes. I do not recommend him at all. Stay far away as possible. I would give zero stars if I could. I am so frustrated that he could treat his patients in this way. The staff at Hicksville location are also very rude. If you end up… coming here as a patient, don't expect any reports or updates. They are a private office and nothing is digitized. It's all done with paper and disorganized.

I believe he may have saved my life by helping me. I highly recommend this doctor for assistance with addiction issues.
