Warning, stay away from Dr.Sebastian if you need to get anybody that's gonna write a report And being completely honest, Neurologic surgery has advanced techniques. Chart notes same as last time and have worse problems, offers a backsurgery. Last November 23rd I declined. Phone conference August 2023. He agrees I need pain management No Note chart. I was told by legal consul Mayo has some of the worst chart notes. Sebastian told me they didn't offer OBIBF or transformer inner body fusions which is total BS the Neurosurgeons do that as Dr. Byron Letter sent from Mayo Clinic August 30th 2023 saying at this time the Neurosurgeons are on willing to help me. DR. Byron way more experienced than doctor Sebastian ? December 2014 I spent a week at the hospital with GBS Guillain Barre Syndrome terrible treatment Mayo Clinic ? Transferred to Mpls University of Minnesota hospital. Fact 2014 December when I checked in Mayo transferred from Fairview South Dale hospital after a week.… Mayo Clinic has advanced robotic techniques that Sebastian has not learned, red flag.

He spent a good deal of time with me explaining what lumbar spinal fusion surgery entails. He also spent time with me a few days after surgery discussing my progress and answering questions. I find him very professional and personable. His support team is excellent. I am very happy to have chosen Dr Sebastian and Mayo. I do suggest that if you have fusion surgery you stay in the hospital for two nights.

Drove 7 hours and paid hotel to have him be there 10 minutes and be dismissive about what my MRI results say, said herniated discs and spondylosis going from my cervical to thoracic spine with proven EMG radiculopathies down both are are " normal for my age" ( I'm 42- it's been happening for years, why I went there. Other surgeons locally afraid to touch it)

Very late for appointment. We traveled 600 miles for a 15 minute appointment, and Dr. Sebastian wasted the time examining my hands, neck, and grip strength when my symptoms are in lumbar spine and sciatica in my feet. Unprepared. Hadn’t even read case history. No collaboration with an experienced orthopedic surgeon. No referral. No recommendation. Complete waste of time.
