Dr. Arleen Suzette Sharpe, MD

I love this doctor. She always makes me feel really comfortable enough to discuss any issues with my health. She is not only very sweet but very thorough. She leaves no questions unanswered.

I have seen Dr. Sharpe a few times and was not sure if we were the right fit, but the last visit confirmed that I will change to another physician. I went to see Dr. Sharpe because I had some chest pains (tightness, hard to breathe of and on, feeling faint, wheezing a bit). Though she followed up with tests for chest pains she did not address this properly with me, she did not explain the possible reasons why I have this chest pain. My blood pressure was a little higher than usual, she didnâ??t advise letâ??s check this again in near future, she said not to worry about it but didnâ??t explain. I had to go get a chest x-ray and when I came back to see Dr. Sharpe (luckily chest x-ray was quick) she called me in the hallway from waiting room to briefly tell me results are okay, but didnâ??t say what they checked for, for example bronchitis and Pneumonia, I asked to make sure that I didnâ??t have that and she responded no to both. I was in hallway and briefly standing in a room because… she had other patients to see. I know there are others waiting but at least take 5 minutes to call me into a room and close the door and address the concern I had. I had to ask why I am feeling this way if it's not bronchitis and she said maybe due to a virus (I mentioned that earlier to her) and then she said itâ??s Bronchospasm. Based on what I researched it seems it can be due to an allergy or possibly GERD related or can be asthma (surprise me since I donâ??t have this). Since the beginning of the session Dr. Sharpe already diagnose with GERD ( I can tell with questions) because I had chest pain, but I knew I suffered from acid reflux already and advised this feels different and that I was light headed among other things. The Dr. can hear me as well via the stethoscope, this is why I went in for a chest x-ray but unfortunately Dr. Sharpe didnâ??t tell me I hear this and just to make sure you donâ??t have xyz we will have you go in for a chest x-ray, (though I knew why already). From the conversation I had with Dr. Sharpe itâ??s unfortunate I felt she dismissed my concerns and already came up with her diagnosis before all results were in etc... Seems when you speak itâ??s best not to say much, and thatâ??s not the relationship I would like to have with my primary physician, the service is not free and most importantly we go to the doctor for our well-being.

What a wonderful caring person!! Spends time, asks correct questions. Every doctor should exercise this type of quality care.

Dr. Sharpe is a great doctor, with great bedside manner. She is very thorough, asking the right questions, listens well and follows up with every visit. After each visit she reviews what was discussed and gives her patients a printout of the same. Highly recommend.

After Dr. Kelly and Dr. Sabour left the practice, everyone i know changed doctors after many years with the practice as no one was willing to continue treatment with dr sharpe

Dr. Sharpe is my regular MD. However, I tried to get an appointment with her due to a shortness of breathe problem. She is with a medical group now and it is very difficult to talk to someone at the office. When you do, this new staff is rude. I was told I would have to wait two weeks (two weeks for someone with respiratory distress?!!). When I complained to the main medical group, I was told that Dr. Sharpe was on vacation. The staff couldn't have told me that in the first place!!! Needless to say I've changed doctors. Additionally, this practice is moving to another location in a few months.
