she must had a bad day. very confrontational and argumentative. Not sure who wrote the glowing recommendations (perhaps herself?) but the doctor I saw was NOT attentive

Very nice doctor. Too bad I live 1.5 hours away in Oswego so can’t visit as often as needed.

For 16 years, Dr. Chapman kept me alive with her research and her brilliant care. She listened, fixed my problems and made it so I could work until retirement. There are not enough good words to describe her patience, thoughtfulness and concern for my care. Through Dr. Chapman’s work, many PKD patients are alive today. I had lost 9 PKD family members before Dr. Chapman’s great work saved my sister, my two nephews and my life. She is an all round loving, caring and sharing doctor. She is a university educator who educates her patients along our PKD journeys. I highly recommend anyone with PKD who wants to live seek Dr. Chapman’s council and care.

Dr Chapman spent almost an hour with me each time and made correct diagnose which the previous four Nephologist I saw could not. She is probably Chicagoland most knowledgeable doctor on polycystic disease

I thought it was bit strange that lot of patient reviews said she was "condescending". After meeting her in the clinic, I realized what others meant. Some doctors just don't have the compassion they need.

Too busy to give patients enough time to ask questions. Fake smile on her face and somewhat condescending. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
