Dr. Arlene Gacutan Ramos

Went in for a fall that landed me,flat on my back. I told her it hurt lower and upper back. She checks just lower back. The pain medication that was given she contradicted what I said it does to me and told me to eat food with it after I did this already the last time she had prescribed it to me, and faxed prescription to pharmacy.

she was my sons dr. for a decade or so, she was very compatant,very knowledgible,a fine dr. i said was his dr. he lives 4 hours away now,and still sees here from time to time

I been a patient for many years what I really love about her is she has a heart to not like a happy meal Dr she cares I have seen her cry when she lost a patient and when you really going through something she will hug you talk to you and cry with you she has a heart of gold she is very honest and if she don't have the answers she will send you where you need to go and her nurse is a sweetie I hate going to the Dr lime most of us do but so nice to know if you have to go you will be treated with the best care

Dr. Ramos isn't a bad doctor. You can tell that she is busy and is in a bit of a hurry, but that office only allows 15 minutes for each patient. She does listen to what you have to say and she does try to come up with the best diagnoses. She doesn't put a lot of extra time or work into her patients. For example, if it is time to have a yearly physical, you have to remind her, she won't just do blood work on you. Basically, you have to always tell her what you need or want..she is pretty good and listening and giving the patient what they need..but don't expect anything extra or any extra care or time.

I scheduled with this Dr. b/c I was looking for a female for a primary physician. After my appointment with Dr. Ramos I did not feel as though she listened to me. I felt as though I was "fast food" in the office and was overall very dissappointed. Needless to say I am searching for a primary Dr.

not a caring doctor

Dr. Ramos is abrasive, has no patience and takes no time to listen. She is condensending and it is just an overall bad experience having to see her.
