Dr. Arlene Zoe Roman, MD

I saw Arlene Roman for 2 years. Was great at first. And then she wouldn’t show up to my appointments. Call in after I had already gotten there and when I needed prescriptions refilled she wouldn’t call them in. She became lazy and unreliable when I needed her most.

I sought help for my high anxiety and sleeplessness and depression. It had been ruled out as due to medical problems by my GP. I was upset by a diagnosis of BIPOLAR because I didn't want to own that label. It was hard to feel so vulnerable and to be able to trust. It was hard to find the right medication cocktail over several months. I believe that Dr. Roman sincerely wants to help people be their best selves and learn to cope better with whatever problems are afflicting them. I know that if I get scared, or frustrated with the process, she will listen, give me the time I need, and help me work through any issues I may have, and lend me her support. I personally have appreciated the help she has provided me while I walk this precariously rocky road to a better mental well being.
