Dr. Arletha Lenise Anderson, MD

My son referred me to Dr. Anderson and I thought, oh boy, I don’t know about this. That was about 10 or more years ago. Dr. Anderson is prompt, she is thorough, she is caring. If she is running a bit behind, listening thoroughly to her patient before me, do I care? No. First, she or the staff will inform you she is running a bit behind, which has happened maybe twice in the past 10 years. She then apologizes to you for being behind. More than that, she spends the same amount of time with me as she does with her other patients equating quality service. Dr. Anderson listens to the patient. She answers your questions and concerns. She responds with clear, concise diagnoses and treatment plans, that work. Her office is always clean and her staff is awesome. It isn’t about treating with an African American physician. It is about treating with a physician who is prompt, caring, understanding, patient, and very thorough. In this microwave society in which we live, a person will… go to a restaurant and wait 50 minutes or more because they hear the food is great. A person will stand in line to see a person perform or a show for more than an hour. A person will even stand in line for hours to buy a pair of overpriced shoes,, but won’t wait for a doctor who places your health and your concerns about it first. Go figure.

I really have a lot of medical issues in my adult life. I just want to say that Dr. Arletha Anderson is a wonderful person to know . She is so very easy to talk to. She is VERY VERY GOOD, DOCTOR !! Thank You !!! .

A very pleasant and understanding Physician, wonderful staff.

Dr. Anderson is AMAZING! She's knowledgeable and personable. Her bedside manner is warm and she takes her time to address all questions, HOWEVER, her staff is among the most rude and unprofessional I've ever encountered. It's difficult to find an African American physician in this area and I hate to leave, but between the consistent two-plus hour wait times for scheduled appointments and staff who cannot keep their word, I'd rather go without healthcare altogether than to go back to her.
