Arlette Brown, MD

it was God awful I left feeling violated in many ways. I stopped going to the doctor for about a year because this doctor Arlette brown told me that she could not diagnose me with certain things because she wouldn't get paid if she did. Is that not illegal?? How many people needed to find out what's wrong with them and she has told this exact thing? I have given this doctor many chances thinking maybe she was having a bad day but please take hed to my warning. YOU DESERVE BETTER CARE. I don't write reviews but after leaving this office I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. She is very rough and brash in her examination process. She doesn't give you eye contact. She doesn't give direct answers. You leave the office feeling defeated. She literally does not use any lubricant during paps. I left the office feeling so beat up that I cried because no one no matter what ethnicity or income bracket you don't deserve to be mistreated. I literally had to tell this woman that she was hurting me. She… didn't even apologize. When I got home my pelvic area was so sore.. She was digging into me with the fetal doppler and now I am praying because of the pain I am feeling. If she has done it to me she has done it to others. I pray that others redirect their decision to use her. Please use discernment when choosing your doctor's. I typically do and went against my judgment and didn't read any reviews. Other people have said even worse things than me. I found a better facility in the city and will be making the extra long trip to make sure I receive the care I deserve.

I just seen Dr. Brown for the first time at Aunt Martha's clinic in hazel crest. She was very kind and answered all my questions. She didn't make me feel rushed and I felt nice and comfortable with her. She did an outstanding job.
