He always takes the time to ask how I am doing

I had Dr. Lilienfeld for many years when I lived in Boston. He was consistently thoughtful, respectful and intelligent. A minimalist (which was good for me) without being dismissive. I trusted him to make sure I was receiving good care.

Whenever I see him I feel better afterwards. He really listens and he can put the puzzle of problems together and figure things out. He is really upbeat. If I don't understand something he will explain it again in a different way but he never talks down to me. He really advocates for you to be healthy but he never lectures.. He doesn't blow off my symptoms when I am anxious. He has a real understanding of people. He's patient and he doesn't have the ego that some docs have. He is pretty down to earth even though he teaches some at Harvard and is really quite smart. He is a doc I can really talk to and have confidence in. the wait time was a few mins before my appointment which I can't find below.

really listens, will help with a plan like to lose weight but is tactful and nonjudgemental and never lectures. He does let you know that down the road you will have problems if you don't exercise, lose wt ect. I am always nervous and its just not gonna go away and he gets that. I do carry medication but he doesn't comment because he knows my pulse is gonna go up but after a few minutes I feel really comfortable with him I did not realize it at the time but he was very kindly talked about nutrition byt commenting that his wife is a very good cook.. He explored what I knew of nutrition in a real breezy kinda way.. once after being in the hospital for depression the hospital called and they wanted me to stay on a med that caused GI problems.. He just believes you and takes care of the problem. He is smart and has a easy, nice way about him He also laughs (appropriately) now and then and he doesn't seem rushed. I know he teaches and that is great and he is always up on his stuff. If… you don't understand something he will explain it in different ways until you do. He doesn't get angry if you don't get something right away.

Best doctor I have ever seen. Takes the time to explain his diagnosis and also drew a diagram to make sure I understood what he was talking about. Really takes time to explain everything to patients

I have been under the care of 3 primary care doctors in my adult life Dr. Lilienfeld being the fourth and the absolute best . He does not recommend needless imaging and use of specialists . He is extremely knowledgeable, listens carefully, spends time with his patients, very caring, kind. He also responds in a more than reasonable time to phone calls. He is by far the best doctor I have had. He cares for a good number of family members and they all feel the same way. His staff is excellent, friendly & efficient.

Dr. Lilienfeld is an outstanding knowledgable doctor. He is kind and trustworthy. You can assure he will always head you in the best direction if ever needed. I would recommend him to anyone!
