Dr. Armyn Anne B Carbonell, MD

She did not express her concerns or interest in her job. I had two issues to ask but she said I needed to make another appointment for the second issue and left. she was with me less than 5 min.

Rude and expression is cold. I have never had this kind of experience. The way she speaks to the patient and face expression is cold. On my 1st appointment with her, I thought maybe she had a bad day so I gave her another opportunity (everyone should have a 2nd opportunity to proof themselves). On my 2nd appointment, I left the office in tear. This is how bad it was. She has the tendency to make you feel like crap, that she is very bothered and does not have time for "you", and that our health concerns are nothing to her.

I never felt she cared one way or another about my heath issues. She made me feel like I was intruding on her time, even though she had requested I return for the appointment. Then she would ask what are you here for? Well, you asked that I return for this appointment!!?? Just very cold. When I was taken to emergency with a bp reading of 220/120, and came in to see her, and the bp was still high after 10 days on the new medications, she said just be patient. She had me coming back in 3 months!!!

Been her patient for a couple years. She does care but her personality comes across that she doesn't. She's very serious, speaks softly and never rushes you. Though after an appointment she once left me in the room saying she'd go print my referrals...Never came back. I thought she was coming back...the nurse came in with the referrals and I could hear dr was already in with another patient. That was very odd. Maybe she was running behind? Sometimes I feel as though she's stumped or just guessing at diagnosis. She's very cautious as to not make you uncomfortable, almost too cautious. I wish she was less cautious and more thorough and forward in her exam to check everything. I'd like to change my PCP but finding a good Dr is like rolling the dice it seems. Wish I could find one like my kids have. Dr Chang and Dr Ramirez are so wonderful. Why can't they all be like those 2!?

Dr Carbonell is capable and she is very knowledgeable being she is an Internist. Very nice Staff and clean Office. Doctor is prompt but does not rush you through your appointment.

This doctor is very cold. No expression on face, doesn't make eye contact and seems very bothered - like she doesn't have the time. Last appointment with her was very disturbing as she was very rude and slammed things around in the exam room. Never seen this before on any professional.

Dr. Carbonell takes time to answer your questions. Reasonable wait times. Strong emphasis on preventive medicine. NEVER talks down to you.
