Dr. Arnaldo Manuel Garcia Jimenez, MD

I've been a happy patient with Dr Jiminez for almost 8 years. Multiple procedures with him, colonoscopies and most recently an upper GI in late 2019. As usual I discussed with his office manager insurance and out of pocket expense and paid in full on the spot. But almost one year after the procedure I received a bill from his office for $168.00. No explanation, just said "balance due." I phoned his office and left a message questioning the charge and asked for a return call to discuss. Heard nothing until I received a bill from a collections company strongly asking to pay in full. Of course I paid not wanting any negative impact to my credit history. My point - wouldn't you at least expect a return phone call prior to sending a good, long term customer out for collections? I sure would. Needless to say I'll be looking for a different provider in the future.

My dr. referred me for a colonoscopy. Dr. Jimenez’ office called to schedule the appt. Went to the make shift, dusty, cold office in Buford. Had the consult with NP, Susanna, she was nice, the most professional person there, asked me questions, I had my own. Waited to be called into another office w/directions as to next steps. Could have been the mgr. Was scheduled for the procedure in a wk. Had to fast for 2 days, most reviews online stated 1 day of fasting. Was confused but followed the instructions. Day 2, I was sick. I had a horrible headache, nausea and dizziness. Called the office starting at 8am, no answer. Called 6 additional times that day. No answer, no call backs. I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. No one at this office cares about their job, you or your concerns. What drs office doesn’t answer the phone?!?! I called at 4pm yelled at someone, at this point I was frustrated, irate and irritated and no solution for how sick I was. The day of the procedure in… Alpharetta was very professional unlike Buford. Met the doctor, a really nice guy. I didn’t want to write a bad review but this was the most unprofessional office I had ever been to. I wasn't planning on returning to Buford ever. They called me for a a follow up appt for the results. I said, no I have no desire to ever go back, the girl said how about tele-call? Fine, I went with that. Remember as long as I never went back. So 15 min before the appt, the office calls and asked me to pay $43, I should have been told when appt was made that there was a fee for the tele-call. I said no I’m not paying you. So I have no results. I know our insurance covers it. I'll get the results from my dr who gave me the referral. There are too many choices of doctors out there than to settle for less than mediocracy. This experience has made me angry. I will let my dr know of my experience so that she knows who she is referring patients to. It’s been awful, I think the experience of a colonoscopy was easier than dealing with incompetent people making it worse during a pandemic.

When I arrived I was filling papers about 10 min in the lobby, mean while more patients show up, there is a coffee table with cups, but not coffe or water and 7 chairs in the lobby and we were at least 15 people. I told the guy that was at reception that when he call me I was going to be out side (too crowded). after 10 min he call me to get in and I was waiting in that little office 40 min later I went outside and ask the same guy that did my paperwork how much longer I have to wait and he say that around 5 to 10 min, 30 minutes later i went back and ask him to give me my papers back and I left!!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TIME. I ended an email and they dont even care to apologies.

had a colonoscopy with Dr. Jimenez, have had bad experiences before with colonoscopy due to medical history, but had great experience with him. I have switched to him as my Gatroenterologist and couldn't be happier.

Great asset to residents of Buford, GA

Its easy to get appointment.Has a lot of issues that his clinic its getting you on the most expensive diagnostic tools for hemmoroids-colonoscopy is about 5000 dol with insuarance,you will pay a lot just for diagnosis,no manner to try to help you to be out of this desease,its better to find another doctor who is more responsible about patients needs and deserves.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jiminez. He is a great doctor - very caring, skilled and communicates very well.
