Dr. Arnaldo Villafranca, MD

Dr. Villafranca is a wonderful physician who truly cares for you as a whole person!

I went to this doctor when he was working at Preferred Medical Center over in Hialeah. I believe he is still working there. I went to go see him on two separate occasion for two different problems. One of the time i had terrible diarrhea and was feeling pretty awful. After a couple of days and my condition not improving i decided to go see the doctor. When i told him how I was feeling the guy asked me why i was going to see him if that was just a virus that it was just going to pass. But he told me this with such a condescending tone. Very rude and unprofessional. He was right on his diagnosis. My condition improved after a couple of days. But there are better ways to approach your patients. Specially those that are sick. That was the last time i saw him.

I scheduled a 9:00 AM general check up with Dr Villafranca. I'm a first time patient so I got to the office at 8:30 AM to fill out the necessary paperwork. The staff was unaware that I had an appointment and initially told me that I did not have any appointment. Fortunately, the staff member was able to find and confirm that my appointment was in fact scheduled for 9:00 AM. Despite my 9:00 AM appointment I was not seen by Dr. Villafranca until 10:30 AM. When Dr. Villafranca came into the patient room, I asked him "Do you know I have a 9:00 AM appointment." He responded, "Yeah, so what did you need?" At that point I was just focused addressing the health concerns I had. I have a long history of medical issues and actually had a substantial health issue the morning of the appointment so I initially inquired re the health scare. He brushed it off, asked a few general questions and continued with the general physical. I waited 2 hours to see a curt unprofessional Dr. Arnaldo… Villafranca for 10 minutes. I highly recommend avoiding Dr Arnaldo Villafranca. Luckily, he does not represent the medical community and there are other competent medical professionals available.
