Dr. Arnold G Salotto, MD

With a 1/2 appointment time slot , about 10 minutes was spent on my issues.

I would rate a 0 if I could. Long story short: Dr Salotto and Danielle Marky, PA are awful. He preformed back surgery on me that should have been a routine procedure. However I ended up with a fracture in my thoracic area and now I have kyphosis that’s getting worse. I’m in pain every day and he basically said he couldn’t fix my back. He did not offer an option to help me find a doctor who could help me. I was pretty much on my own. I found a doctor at Johns Hopkins head of ortho and neuro experience. I did have to get a bone density before he could see me and Dr Salotto did order that for me however he never gave me the results. It turns out I have severe osteoporosis that requires treatment before I can get my back fixed. Dr Salotto never gave me the result or offered for me to start treatment. So now I can’t have surgery until the end of this year or the beginning of next year to top it off the new doctor has to take everything out of my back and start over having to go… up 2 more levels in my back. Because I wasn’t given the results and no treatment for the osteoporosis it has really delayed my surgery. I was under the impression when a doctor orders a test it is the standard of care to give the patient results and treatment if the test is abnormal please save yourself trouble and see a different doctor!!!!!

Dr. Salotto recently performed a L4/5 Laminectomy on my back. After years of excruciating pain and discomfort with extremely limited mobility, I can now walk normally again and sleep like a baby thanks to Dr. Salotto.

Went to have surgery done and ended up homeless and still in pain. The staff instigated a fight between my mother and I and then kicked us out. The letter of apology I received is not enough to repair the relationship and I will never go there again. Think twice before going to this office.

I would not go to another neurosurgeon. This doctor is the best.

Dr. Salotto removed my brain tumor and monitors my progress very closely. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and a very sweet man. I felt totally taken care of and his concern is genuine. I would recommend Dr. Salotto for a Neurosurgeon. He is the best!

This dr has absolutely zero compassion for your pain and suffering. He gave me a pain medication after surgery that did not work. He refused to give me anything else, he felt it should work. Also it took 3 phone calls to him to get a call back from his staff. If I had known his reputation I would have used another more compassionate surgeon.

When my back finally gave out the reaction to the MRI was "I can't believe you haven't lost bladder control". Surgery was preformed several days later. I walked a full mile the night of the surgery making loops around the hospital floor. There were no secondary issues such as nerve damage from the surgery. There isn't anyone I wouldn't refer Dr. Salotto and his team to.
