Dr. Arooj Hyat, MD

I had my first and last visit with this rude, arrogant, self impressed doctor, who within my short visit with her, cut me off frequently and snapped at me while trying to respond to her questions. I am an RN who has worked closely with some of the most intelligent and compassionate doctors in the Boston area and feel that Arooj Hyat is an embarrassment to her profession. I don't understand how Partners Health Care condones this behavior

Doctor has no compassion. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Have extensive experience with great physicians at MGH - Dr. Hyat is a disgrace to her profession.

Dr. Hyat was professional, educated and well-informed. More importantly, she was thoughtful and truly concerned for my well-being. She really took the time to listen to me, followed up on outstanding issues and was able to pick-up on things that other doctors had missed. I know my family and I are in good hands with Dr. Hyat and I've already reccomended her to many of my friends.

Unprofessional. I had a bad irritation behind my ear from wearing non-precious metals earrings. She suggested me to apply olive oil. Really??

She has got to be the worst physician I've come across in my life - to date! She is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. She could not offer any helpful suggestions or explanations regarding any of my health concerns. During my few visits with her, she always cut me off before I could explain all my symptoms and tried to make me feel like I was an idiot for wasting her precious time.(Although, I did not see a lot of patients waiting at the reception to see her:) Fortunately, I have had enough, experience with physicians to be able to tell the difference between a good physician and a plain bad one. And going to see Dr. Hyat for me, definitely turned out to be a waste of time and money. I would most certainly not recommend her to anyone I know!
